Violent Crime Isn't Accidental

Having spent most of my adult life engaged in "grassroots criminology," safety advocacy running parallel to professionals in policing and academia, I've looked at motivations and deviations of community members committing what I consider violent treason and chemical warfare against other working class people with limited resources.

What I've found is no evidence of a proverbial silent movie villain hiding behind a tree manipulating community traitors with remote control in hand.

Ditto for not having found signs of demonic possession-though some made me wonder--no hint of alien absorption nor telepathic manipulation by human master minds with extrasensory perception (ESP).

I've studied this topic from afar and in-person for decades. Observed behavior includes extreme egotism, indifference, addiction, mental challenges and popular culture promoting all of the above as a corrupt cultural identity.

As if these factors weren't enough, enabling ideology folks often sink to perverting parts of Black history where we couldn't exercise free will to excuse its modern misuse--choosing violent treason broadcast daily by corporate media and social media influencers.

Living in a community where violent treason is not only enabled but any form of discipline, be it parental, school, police, or self defense, is discouraged or disabled, means watching violent traitors strut and drive around as if they're untouchable--which they largely are.

This enabling leads to even more violent treason, culminating in increased public displays of dominance, with predictable results: mobs of live streaming, store looting youth, mob assaults, also recorded, street takeovers with vehicles doing donuts at intersections and dirt bike/ATV gangs doing dangerous stunts through busy traffic.

As conservatives and opponents of crime and disorder outside that ideology mobilize to face a likely long hot summer before the 2024 day of reckoning at the polls, a conclusion I reached years ago still holds true: violent crime isn't accidental.

It's a series of actions designed to intimidate, injure or even murder targeted people.

It's a choice.

A very bad one.
