Hillary Clinton, dirty laundry, harbingers

Hillary: Bad news on Mother's Day

By John Burtis
Sunday, May 14, 2006

Sadly, for Hillary this Mother's Day, Politicalmoneyline.com brought her a bit of bad news, without the usual gushy fold-out card adorned with paper lace and the overlarge hand written flourishes promising obsequious avouchments of undying devotion, with a big correction to their campaign finance database concerning the latest information on her now infamous august 2000 Los angeles money raiser.

Yes, folks, alas, the website now lists Peter Paul as her largest single contributor at the gala, with a total of $838,902 in concert, dinner and reception expenses, whose injections of ready cash, they report, were finally acknowledged and re-filed with the FEC as a relatively unknown amendment on January 30th of this year, by Ms. Clinton's joint fundraising committee.

This mid-winter activity comprises another of Ms. Clinton's premier hidden activities, among the many, completely overlooked by the mainstream press, and one which clearly illustrates the shifting sands afflicting the shallow pilings below her finely re-crafted puritanical Scripture quoting image as she continues her long trumpeted run for the most exclusive of addresses, with high hopes of redecorating it in the most garish of tastes.

This small addendum finally acknowledges Mr. Paul's primary involvement in the La soiree, termed Event 39 by Ms. Clinton's campaign handlers, after years of dodging the bullet, spinning implausible tales, and generating voluminous amounts of cloying opaque smoke by her diehard loyalists in the liberal press, campaign lackeys at her office and overworked pettifogging barristers from high powered firms, adept at currying judicial favors.

Shockingly enough, it should also be noted that so far none of the diverse other public watchdogs, who are supposed to keep an eagle eye on campaign donors and track every amount, large and small, they toss into their steaming cauldrons, have bothered to take note of Senator Clinton's updated January FEC filing and post them, too, oh no. That would be unfair to Hillary.

and to add additional dry tinder to an already smoldering fire, Politicalmoneyline has also located the patently false IRS report, which incorporates the crude tommyrot andrew Grossman, Hillary's 2000 treasurer, employed to camouflage Peter Paul's La donations, still dangling in limbo, without a single correction appended since the January FEC refiling.

It's great when you can pay no attention at all to the IRS and keep campaigning.

Meanwhile, additional legal problems are cropping up, like a cancerous, mordant colony of crabgrass in a verdant lawn, from that sorrowful Los angeles masquerade of a raw money elutriation, beyond the simple use of shills as money pass throughs, where people are still surprised to find their names on the donor sheets, and that simple failure to update the teddy bears at the IRS.

On May 8th, V-E Day, in another happening completely unnoticed by the Hillary huffing mainstream press, those handmaidens to the easy Clinton victory in New York, US Justice Foundation filed a notice to appeal the controversial decision of the trial judge in the Peter Paul matter to apply California's anti-SLaPP law to Ms. Clinton, the intent of which is to safeguard wealth poor contenders from cases which impacted their abilities to campaign prior to the elections, whose application has enabled her to remain free from testifying thus far in the turbid matter.

It should be noted, however, that the intent of the California law in question was never to protect individuals from civil actions arising from claims of gross fraud emanating from the financing of their campaigns, especially with the intervening passage of so many years from the alleged activity.

One can't help but be reminded here of the draft and military averse Bill Clinton's famous use of the little known and rarely applied Soldiers and Sailors Relief act of 1940, in his vain attempt to dodge similar testimony in the alarmingly sordid Paula Jones case by claiming that he possessed the same rights as the military men under his command and should be excused from that onerous duty. Sadly this canard didn't work, just as the current appeal of the anti-SLaPP law is likely to be upheld against the Clintons, but they'll stop at nothing in their attempts to dodge testimony.

So as Hillary and her illimitable baggage train trundles along on her freshly laid track toward her elusive goal of the Presidency, picking up additional detritus as it meanders to the left, to the right and back to the center, her jam packed freight cars, many marked with the Sioux Line logo, are groaning under the additional loads of dirty linen, used shirt waists and other similarly lucrative tax write-offs.

as the FEC filing shows, the wondrous Clinton machine is not without its unplanned off-warranty hidden maintenance stops, even as its history is being slowly being rewritten, under penalty of law, to more closely represent factual happenstances.

and in the Peter Paul case, as the latest appeal grinds its way through the halls of justice, the junior Senator has every reason to fear that day when she may yet be forced to testify about the sudden appearance of that rogue $838,902, which came waltzing into her patulous coffers in the dehiscent City of Lights, thanks to Mr. Peter Paul and its other famous denizens.

as I said before, her vast fountain of loot may yet be turned into a simple annuity to soften her forthcoming senectitude, when her bulging silo of dirty deeds finally ruptures.

Perhaps the mainstream media may then notice the plethora of problems arising from that rambunctious night of star studded excitement in Los angeles, but I doubt it.

One evening of exhilaration may yet lead to a lifetime of regret, should a real investigation ever be launched.
