Bush when it comes to butchering the queen's English. Then again, the mayor is hardly eloquent when it comes to public annunciation. Example: In discussing a strange, unpleasant odor of unknown origin that has residents of New York City pinching their noses for reasons other than Da Mayor's liberal policies, Bloomberg exposed his limited options when he said: "We Are Waiting for the Gas to Pass." http://wcbstv.com/topstories/local_story_008093506.html Bloomberg's words were worthy of a major headline on the Drudge Report and honorable mention by Rush Limbaugh on his radio gig Monday morning. The mayor's blathering reminds me of my first thoughts after hearing Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid wax enthusiastic about their socialist manifesto in Washington, D.C. last week. But while New York City can be counted to take care of itself, I worry about Washington, D.C. Can the nation's capitol wait two years for the "gas to pass" from the 110th Congress? John W.
