A Guy Who Knows What He Talking About Willis

By Jim Whelan, The Joan Randall Agency

Tuesday, July 24, 2007

I just couldn't resist adding that "Willis" to the titleof todays missive. Today I'm going to tell you aboutmy friend The Big Kahuna, and why you should listento what he says in his daily blog.

First of all, you can find him at: www.bigkahunasecurity.com

The blog is on the site, or you can sign up to get itas a daily email like I do. It's one of those must reademails.

Remember to send in the confirmation email that youget after signing up.

I've known The Big Kahuna for many, many years. He knows a ton about how you can keep you and yourfamily safe in this bad bad world. Last week he gaveout a safety tip that everyone should know about. Hegot it from one of his readers, which are many.

Your cell phone has a locator on it under "Settings."You should turn it on. If you have kids and they havea cell phone you you should turn their's on.

What it means is this. If you or one of your kids shouldgo missing, God forbid, this enables you to be trackedby the police. They can pinpoint your location evenwithout you dialing out.

The Big Kahuna has tips like this all the time.

He also sells personal protection products such asstun guns, pepper spray, steel batons, mace, tasers, recorders, voice changers, personal alarms, house andwindow alarms, even pool alarms. All these things aremade to protect you and your family when and if you runinto trouble.

Since 1 in 7 people will be involved in a violent crimeduring their lifetime, the odds are pretty good that youneed a little help in this department.

Using those stats, that means that at least one personin my family will be attacked and become a victim inthis lifetime. It's already happened, but Whelan's don'tgive in, and we are never going to be victims.

The Big Kahuna made sure I was tooled up, and thenI made sure my family, immediate, and extended, gottooled up. If you attack one of us, you're gonna geta whole lot more than you bargained for.

And then some.

Without bumping into The Big Kahuna, one of my familymembers would have been in a heap of trouble. But heescaped danger, and put a big hurt on his assailant, whowas only to glad to have the police arrive. Some pepperspray called Wildfire made the clown hit the turf hard, andhe received a few pointed reminders from Tony LLamajust for good measure.(Thatz a note pinned to the pointof a cowboy boot.)

I lurnt that in Texis. Just kidding.

When I was growing up my grandaddy taught me how toprotect myself. I never had a problem handling myself whenI was young. But a lot of years passed, and I hadn't givenit much thought until I met the Big Kahuna in an airport.

He reawakened all that stuff that my grandaddy taught me,and took it to a much higher level.

Tune in to his show at: www.bigkahunasecurity.com

From the big saddle,
Jim Whelan
