  • Dec. 29 - Shooting -Shortly after 1 a.m., two men were shot in the Midland Ave./Danforth Rd. area of Scarborough. The men were found in different locations but believed to have been shot in the same place. A 41-year-old man was taken to hospital with a non-life threatening wound to his leg while a man in his 20s was shot in the chest and is in serious condition.

  • Dec. 27 - Shooting - Around 6:30 p.m., a man was shot to death behind a community centre located in the Jane/Finch area. The man in his 20s had been shot in the upper body.

  • Dec. 26 - Shooting - Shortly before midnight, a 25-year-old man was found in the lobby of an apartment building on San Romanoway in the Jane and Finch area. He had been shot in the face. The victim was taken to hospital and police are reviewing video surveillance tapes.

  • Dec. 26 - Shooting and Stabbing - Around 9 p.m., police went to an apartment in the Kipling Ave./Rexdale Blvd. area of Etobicoke. They found a man in his early 20s dead from a stab wound to the neck. A 23-year-old man had been shot in the leg and taken to Sunnybrook Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. It is believed that there was a home invasion and the deceased had been one of the "invaders".

  • Dec. 24 - Shooting - At about 2 a.m., a man and a� woman were shot in the leg in the entertainment district of downtown. Both have non -life-threatening injuries and police are reviewing video tapes in a search for a suspect.

  • Dec. 24 - Shooting - Around 1 a.m., 2 men were shot in the King St. and Dufferin area of the city. One man was taken to St. Michael's Hospital where he later died. The second man is expected to recover.

  • Dec. 23 - Shooting - At approximately 8 p.m., 2 19-year-old men were shot in an apartment building in the Morningside/Ellesmere area of Scarborough. One man was taken to hospital in critical condition while the other has non-life-threatening injuries. Police are trying to locate suspects in the double shooting.

  • Dec. 23 -� Shooting - Around 11:30 a.m., a man was shot in the arm on Eglinton Ave. W. near Keele St. Police are looking for 3 men.

  • Dec. 23 - Stabbing - Around 4 a.m. a�fight broke out in a restaurant in the Eglinton Ave./Danforth Rd. area in the city's east end. One man was stabbed with a knife while 2 others were cut with broken plates. All 3 are expected to survive and police are looking for suspects.

  • Dec 23 - Stabbing - A 30-year-old man was found at the intersection of Weston Rd. and Lawrence Ave. suffering from stab wounds. He was rushed to Sunnybrook Hospital where he remains in critical condition. Police are still investigating and looking for suspects.

  • Dec. 22 - Stabbing - Around 9:15 a.m., police were called to the Dufferin and Eglinton Ave. area after a person found some blood-soaked clothes on a sidewalk. A man was located in a nearby residence who had been stabbed at least 5 times. He was taken to Sunnybrook Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The victim refused to cooperate with police in their investigation.

  • Dec.19 - Stabbing - A convenience store owner was robbed at gunpoint in his store located in the Markham Rd/Lawrence Ave. area of Scarborough. During the robbery, that occured around 11:20 p.m., the owner was stabbed several times. He was rushed to the hospital but was expected to be released the next day. Police are looking for 4 suspects.

  • Dec. 15 - Shooting - Around 6 pm, 2 people were shot in the Jane and Finch area. An 18-year-old man was found shot in the back and a short time later a 13-year-old boy walked into Humber River Hospital with a bullet wound to his arm. Both victims' injurires are non-life-threatening and they are being uncooperative with the police. No arrests have been made.

  • Dec. 9 - Stabbing - An incident of road rage occurred around 12:30 p.m. in the area of Morningside and Sewells Rd. During the confrontation, a man was stabbed in the abdomen. The victim managed to drive himself to hospital and provided police with a description of his attackers. Police are looking for 2 men.

  • Dec. 9 - Stabbing - Around 11 p.m., a confrontation developed in a Pizza Hut restaurant in the Jane and Finch area between 3 young men and 2 store employees. A 42-year-old employee was stabbed in the upper body and rushed to Sunnybrook Hospital with serious injuries. His 19-year-old co-worker suffered less serious stab wounds and was taken to Humber Finch Hospital. Police are looking for the 3 suspects.

  • Dec. 9 - Shooting - Around 1:45 a.m., a man who had been shot in the chest was dropped off at Scarborough's Centenary Hospital. Police believe that the shooting took place in the Morningside and Sheppard area and are looking for a black Honda that was seen leaving the hospital at the time the man arrived. He is in hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

  • Dec. 8 - Stabbing - Around 9 p.m., a 17-year-old male was stabbed several times in the abodomen. The stabbing happened in an apartment on San Romanoway in the Jane and Finch area. The victim was taken to hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries and a woman was arrested at the scene.

  • Dec. 4 - Shooting - A man in his 20s was shot in the back at around 9:45 p.m. The shooting took place in a parkette located in the Neilson Rd./Sheppard Ave. area of Scarborough. Witnesses reported that they heard 3 shots and saw 2 men running towards a van. The victim was rush to hospital and is expected to survive.

  • Dec. 3 - Shooting - Police responded to a report of gunshots where they found a man in his 20s who had been shot in the head. The shooting took place around 3 a.m. in the Front St. and Spadina Ave. area. The man was taken to St. Michael's Hospital where he died a short time later. Police have no lead as to suspects.

  • Nov. 29 - Stabbing -Around 1:30 p.m., a man was attacked by a machete weilding attacker in a roti shop on Dufferin Street just north of Eglinton. The victim was taken to Sunnybrook Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The attacker fled the scene and the victim is being uncooperative with the police.

  • Nov. 27 - Shooting - Shortly before 6 a.m., a 30-year-old man was shot in the leg during a carjacking. The incident happened in the Sheppard Ave. E. and Meadowvale Rd. area of Scarborough and the victim's Jaguar was found a short distance away. He was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and police are looking for 2 suspects.

  • Nov. 26 - Shooting - Shortly before 8 p.m., a man believed to be around 30 was shot in the chest. The shooting happened in a parking lot in the Neilson Rd./ Finch Ave. E. area. The victim was rushed to Sunnybrook Health Centre in critical condition. Witnesses reported hearing at least 4 shots and saw 2 men flee the area in a van.

  • Nov. 25 - Stabbing - Around 6 p.m., a 21-year-old man was stabbed in the chest in the area of Brimley Rd. and Steeles. He was taken to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. Police are looking for suspects.

  • Nov. 22 - Shooting - Around 11:30 p.m., a man in his 20s was shot in the leg. The shooting happened in the King and Spadina area of downtown. Police were searching for a Ford Explorer that fled the area with 3 occupants.

  • Nov. 22 - Shooting - After reports of shots fired, police went to a social club in a strip mall in the Dufferin and Finch area. When they arrived, the suspects jumped into an SUV and a high speed chase ensued. While on the 401, one of the suspect fired 3 shots at the police. Police lost the vehicle after it exited at Keele St.�There were no reports of any injuries and police continue to search for the fleeing suspects.

  • Nov. 21 - Shooting - Around 6:15, a man fired at least 6 shots at an SUV containing 4 or 5 men. The incident happened at the busy interssection of Yonge and Shuter, close to where 15-year-old Jane Creba was gunned down on Boxing Day.It is not known if anyone in the car was hit and police are looking for suspects. Part of the downtown area was closed down as police investigated.

  • Nov. 18 - Shooting - In the early morning hours, a woman driving a Honda attempted to run over a male pedestrian at St. Clair and Landsdown.. After the attempt, the man fired shots at the fleeing woman. Police went to the scene and found blood and shell casings and are now looking for the man and woman.

  • Nov. 18 - Stabbing - Early Saturday evening, police were called to an apartment in the Gerrard and Greenwood area. They found a man with at least 4 stab wounds to his chest. The victim was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries and identified his roommate as his attacker.

  • Nov. 14 - Shooting - A home invasion took place around 4:30 p.m. in an apartment in the Jane and Finch area. During the course of the entry, the resident was shot in the hand. Police are looking for 4 suspects, most of whom were known to the victim.

  • Nov. 14 - Shooting - Around 7:30 p.m., police responded to a report of gunshots being fired in the Neilson Rd. and Finch Ave. area of Malvern. When the arrived they found a man in his 50s who had been shot in the stomach. The victim was rushed to hospital where he was pronounced dead.

  • Nov. 12 - Shooting -Around 1 a.m., a 21-year-old man was shot several times. The shooting happened in an apartment on Chalkfarm Drive in the Jane and Wilson area. He was taken to hospital with life-threatening-injuries and police are looking for a suspect.

  • Nov. 11 - Shooting -�Shortly after �3:00 a.m, 4 men were shot outside a lounge located at Bathurst and Queen. One man was taken to St. Michael's Hospital in critical condition with gunshot wounds to his back. The other 3 men received less serious gunshot wounds. Police are investigating.

  • Nov. 11 - Shooting - Around 2:30 a.m., a shot or shots were fired outside of a nighclub in the University Ave. and Adelaide St. area of the Entertainment District. No one was injured and police are following up on reports of a car that was seen fleeing the area.

  • Nov. 11 - Stabbing - A fight broke out inside the Toronto Reference Library on Yonge St. north of Bloor. One of the participants was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening stab wounds to his head. Police are looking for a suspect.

  • Nov. 9 - Shooting - Around 6:30 p.m., a man in his 20s was shot in the back. The incident happened in the stairwell of a building in the Kipling and Steeles area of north Toronto. He was taken to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. Police are looking for a suspect.

  • Nov. 8 - Shooting - A man who had been shot twice in the stomach was found around 7:45 p.m. at the corner of Flemington Rd. and Varna Dr. in the Lawrence Heights area of the city. He was taken to Sunnybrook Hospital with life-threatening injuries.

  • Nov. 4 - Stabbing - Around 2:30 a.m., a 25-year-old man was stabbed in the neck at the corner of Broadview Ave. and Gerrard St and was rushed to St. Michael's Hospital with life-threatening injuries. A language barrier is hampering the police investigation.

  • Nov. 2 - Stabbing - Around 3:30 p.m., a man was stabbed in the back several times and robbed. The incident happened at the Woodside Mall at McCowan and Finch. The victim was taken to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. Police are searching for a suspect.

  • Nov. 1 - Stabbing -Shortly before 8 p.m., a man in� his 20s was stabbed in the chest and back. The incident happened in the Jane St. and St. Clair Avenue of the city and police are investigating.

  • Oct. 30 - Stabbing - Around midnight�man walked into a hospital with a stab wound to his stomach and was admitted in serious condition.�The stabbing took place in the Rathburn and East Mall area of Ebtobicoke and police have arrested a suspect in the stabbing.

  • Oct. 29 - Shooting - Early in the morning, two men walked into Humber River Regionall Hospital near Jane St. north of Lawrence suffering from gunshot wounds. One man was shot in the hand while the other was shot in the shoulder. They were described as being "mariginally" cooperative with the police and had apparently been shot near the intersection of Queen St. E. and Parliament. It is not known why or how they ended up at a hospital so far away.

  • Oct. 27 - Shooting - Around 2:30 a.m., a man was shot several times. The incident happened at 212 Adelaide Street near John and the victim is in hospital with life-threatening injuries. Police later surrounded and pulled a car over on the westbound Gardner at Spadina and took three people into custody.

  • Oct. 23 - Shooting - Around midnight, a woman was walking her dog in the Keele St. and Sheppard Ave. W. area of North York. She heard a noise and discovered that her dog had been shot in a drive-by shooting. The pit bull was not seriously injured and the Humane Society is investigating.

  • Oct. 21 - Stabbing - Around 10 p.m., four people crashed a party that was being held in a hotel in the Victoria Park and 401 area. One man was found leaving the scene with stab wounds. The victim, who had a gash in his abdomen was taken to hospital and was listed in stable condition. Police have no suspects.

  • Oct. 21 - Stabbing - Shortly after 4:30 a.m., police were called to a motel in the Kingston Rd/Old Kingston Rd. area of Scarborough. Police found a woman who had been stabbed and she was rushed to Sunnybrook Hospital with life-threatening injuries. The man who is alleged to have stabbed her later committed suicide by jumping off a bridge.

  • Oct. 21 - stabbing - Around 1:45 a.m., police were called to an apartment in the Morningside and Military Trail area of Scarborough. Several men had been involved in a fight and two men had been stabbed, one fatally. The other has been taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

  • Oct. 19 - Shooting - Around 2 a.m., a bullet went through a window of a bedroom where a woman was asleep in an apartment in Regent Park on Dundas Ave. E. near Parliament. Neither the woman nor her children who were asleep in another bedroom, were injured. Police are unsure if the shooting was deliberate a random occurrence.

  • Oct. 17 - Shooting - Around 1:45 a.m., a man in his 20s was shot in the backside. The shooting took place on the dance floor of the DNA Lounge in the city's entertainment district. Police have no suspects and no witnesses have come forward from the 300 people that were inside the club at the time of the shooting. The victim was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

  • Oct. 17 - Shooting - Around 4 a.m., a man was watching a fight at the intersection of Broadview Ave. and Queen St. E. when he was shot in the foot by one of the participants. He made his own way to the hospital and is undergoing surgery for injuries to his foot. Police are investigating.

  • Oct. 14 - shooting - Around 4:30 a.m., police went to an address on Oakwood Avenue in the city's west end. Two men had been shot in the groin in a basement of a building and were taken to hospital. Several witnesses fled the scene and the victims are being uncooperative with the pollice.

  • Oct. 11 - Shooting - Two men in their 20s were shot at the entrance of the crowded Scarborough Town Centre around 6 p.m. The men, one shot in the chest and the other in the stomach were taken to hospital with serious injuries. Police have recovered one gun and are looking for a gunman who left the scene in a white SUV.

  • Oct. 9 - Shooting - Around 10:30 p.m., a 32-year-old man was found shot in the back in a housing complex near Victoria Park and St. Clair Ave. East. After he was rushed to hospital, police conducting a search of the area discovered the body of a man believed to be in his 20s. He had been shot as well although the police are unsure if the two shootings were related.

  • Oct. 9 - Stabbing -�Around 5 p.m., a 13-year-old boy was stabbed in the shoulder in the Jane and Finch area. Police recovered a pocket knife and took an 11-year-old boy into custody who is too young to be charged. The victim was taken to the Hospital for Sick Children.

  • Oct. 7 - Shooting - Shortly after 5 a.m., 2 men in their late 20s were shot in a nightclub on Danforth Avenue near Logan. One man was shot in the chest while the second was shot in the abdomen. Both were taken to hospital and were undergoing surgury.

  • Oct. 6 - ShootingAround 3:30 a.m., a 35-year-old man who had been shot in the shoulder was taken to a hospital by some friends. It is believed that he and a group of people had been standing at a bus stop in the Jane and Wilson area when a car came up and fired 8-10 shots. The victim has been uncooperative with the police.
  • Oct. 5 - Stabbing - Around 12:30 p.m., a 16-year-old boy was stabbed in the stomach during a fight at Downsview Secondary School. He was taken to Sunnybrook Hospital where he was admitted in critical but stable condition.
  • Oct. 4 - Shooting - Around 2 p.m., an 18-year-old man and a 22-year-old were shot in front of an Etobicoke learning centre on the East Mall near Burnhamthorpe Rd. The men were taken to the hospital with minor injuries, treated and released. The police have recovered shell casings and are looking for suspects.

  • Oct. 1 - Shooting - Around 4 a.m., a man was shot in the back three times at a banquet hall in the Ellesmere and Warden area of Scarborough. He was taken to hospital in serious condition but is expected to survive. Police are searching for suspects.

  • Sept. 30 - Shooting - Around 5:30 a.m., a 20-year-old man was shot in the leg in Parkdale near King and Dufferin in an apparent drug dispute. A 17-year-old youth was arrested and a handgun was recovered.

  • Sept. 27 - Stabbing - During the afternoon, two men engaged in a knife fight that is believed to have started over a woman. One man, who was stabbed in the groin was found near the intersection of St. Clair and Keele. The other participant was found near St. Clair and Runnymede and had been stabbed in the stomach. Police recovered weapons and both men are expected to survive and to be charged.

  • Sept. 26 - Stabbing - Around 6:45 p.m., a 20-year-old man was found lying on a walkway between townhouses in a complex in the Finch Ave. E. and Neilson Rd. area of Scarborough. He had been stabbed in the chest and was taken to hospital where he remains in critical condition. Police are looking for witnesses.

  • Sept. 25 - Shooting - Shortly before 11 p.m., a 25-year-old man was driving his car in the area of Islington Ave. and Steeles Ave. when he was shot in the back of the head. He was rushed to Sunnybrook Hospital.

  • Sept. 25 - Shooting - Around 1 a.m., a woman in a highrise apartment in the Keele St. and Finch Ave. W. area called 911 to report that her husband had been shot. The victim, who had been shot in the chest was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

  • Sept. 24 - shooting - Gunfire erupted between gangs in Regent Park around 6:30 p.m. The gunbattle took place in the same area where a 30-year-old man was shot on Friday. There were no injuries and police are searching for suspects.

  • Sept. 24 - Stabbing - Around 5:30 a.m., a man was stabbed in the face in a parking lot near Mutual St. and Gerrard St. E. He was taken to hospital but left of his own accord before being discharged. The victim was uncooperative with police who recovered a knife in the area. Two suspects are being sought.

  • Sept. 22 - Shooting - Around 11 p.m., a 30-year-old man was shot in the knee and thigh after being confronted by a gang of at least 5 men. The incident happened in the River St. and Dundas St. E. area of downtown Toronto. The man managed to flag down police who recovered 2 guns in the area.

  • Sept. 22 - Shooting - Around 10 p.m., several shots were fired in a housing complex near Finch Ave. and Leslie Street. It is believed that the shots were in relation to a dispute amongst drug dealers. Three people were arrested and there were no injuries.

  • Sept. 22 - Shooting - Shortly after 3:30 p.m., a 25-year-old man was shot in the head in the Lawrence and Bellamy area of Scarborough. The bullet grazed his temple and he is expected to survive. Police are looking for two suspects.

  • Sept. 17 - Stabbing - Around 10:30 p.m., three people walked into North York General Hospital with stab wounds that are considered not to be serious. Police are attempting to find the crime scene and suspects.

  • Sept. 17 - Shooting - Around 5:30 a.m., a man was shot in the head and killed. The murder happened in a Parkdale apartment on King Street West.

  • Sept. 17 - Stabbing - A 25-year-old man was hit by a car and then stabbed to death with a machete. The incident happened around 10 a.m. in the Warden and McNicoll area of Scarborough. Police are following up on several leads.

  • Sept. 16 - Stabbings - Two groups of men got into an argument while on the platform of the Kennedy subway station. One man was stabbed and taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. He refused to cooperate with police

  • Sept. 14 - Shooting - Around 10:30 p.m., police went to Silver Star Blvd. in the Kennedy Rd. and Finch Avenue area of Scarborough. They found a man, believed to be in his 30s, lying outside with a gunshot wound to his face. The victim was taken to Sunnybrook Hosptial where he remains in serious but stable condition. Police are searching for suspects.

  • Sept. 11 - Stabbing - In the early morning hours, a 22-year-old man was stabbed in the back during a fight in a fast food restaurant on Jane Street. He is in fair condition in hosptal and is expected to survive.

  • Sept. 11 - Stabbing - Police were called to the downtown Delta Chelsea Hotel around 4:30 a.m. and found that two men and a woman had been stabbed in a 19th floor room. Two of the victims were pronounced dead at the scene and the third was taken to the hospital and pronounced dead a short time later.

  • Sept. 11 - Shooting - Around 1:15 a.m., a man in his 20s was found with a gunshot wound to his face. The shooting happened in Flemington Park near Don Mills Rd. and Grenoble Dr. The man was taken to hosptial and was listed in critical condition.

  • Sept. 9 - Shooting - In the early morning hours, gunfire erupted in a nightclub located in the Sheppard Avenue/Weston Rd. area of North York. During the incident,�a bouncer at the club was shot. The man, who had been wearing a bullet proof vest was taken to hospital, treated and released.

  • Sept. 9 - Stabbing - A man was sitting on the porch of a house in the Carlaw/Frizzell area of east Toronto.� He was approached by a group of males who asked for a cigarette. An argument developed and the man was stabbed in the back. He was taken to St. Michael's Hospital and is in stable condition. Police have arrested one suspect and are searching for others.

  • Sept. 7 - Stabbing - Around 4:30 a.m., a 24-year-old man was stabbed in the leg in the Finch Ave. and Weston Rd. area after he had left an ATM. He was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

  • Sept. 6 - Shooting - Around 5:30 p.m., an 18-year-old man was shot in a drive-by shooting. Four shots were fired at the man�while�he was walking in the Victoria Park/Sheppard Avenue area of North York. One bullet struck him in the back and he was taken to Sunnybrook Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Police are looking for two suspects.

  • Sept. 5 - Stabbing - Around 2:30 p.m., police and parmedics went to a residence at York University. They found a 19-year-old woman with a life threatening stab wound to her throat. Her boyfriend was found with stab wounds to his back and shoulders and he was taken to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening wounds. It is believed that the woman stabbed her boyfriend and then attempted suicide.

  • Sept. 3 - Shooting - Around 8:30 p.m., a 19-year-old man was shot in the face in the course of a mugging. The incident happened in the Don Mills Rd. and Esterbrooke Ave. area and the man's injuries are not serious.

  • Sept. 3 - Stabbing - A 21-year-old man was stabbed during an argument with a friend in a house in the McCowan and Eglinton area. He was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and a 20-year-old man was arrested.

  • Sept. 2 - Stabbing -�Around 6 p.m., a 20-year-old man was stabbed outside a bank in the Spadina and Dundas Street area. He was taken to the hospital and is expected to survive.

  • Sept. 2 - Stabbing - Around the time of last call, a fight broke out in a pub on Front Street. Four people were injured including two that received stab wounds. Police are searching for suspects.

  • Aug. 30 - Stabbing - Around 1 a.m., a 17-year-old male was stabbed in the arm and abdomen after an argument with 3 others at a gas station in the Don Mills Rd. and Van Horne Avenue area. He is expected to survive and police are searching for 3 suspects.

  • Aug. 29 - Shooting - In the early morning hours, a man walked into the St. Joseph Health Centre with a gunshot wound to the head. Police are investigating.

  • Aug. 28 - Stabbing - A man in his late 20s was stabbed in the chest, arm and leg around 11:30 p.m. The incident happened in a rooming house in the Scarlett Rd. and St. Clair Ave. area. He was taken to hospital where he remains in serious condition with non-life-threatening injuries.

  • Aug. 26 - Stabbing - At around 10 p.m., a man in his 20s was stabbed while walking through a parking lot in the Lawrence Avenue and Scarborough Golf Club Road area. Police are searching for suspects.

  • Aug. 26 - Stabbing - Hours after the previous stabbing, a man was stabbed by his roommate near York Mills and the DVP. The victim underwent surgery for�a punctured lung and is expected to survive.

  • Aug. 25 - Shooting - Around 3 a.m. a man showed up at Humber Regional Hospital suffering from a gunshot wound to his hand. He said that he was shot in the area of Dundas St. W. and Dufferin St. Police were unable to find any evidence of a shooting in that location.
  • Aug. 24 - Stabbing - Shortly before midnight a man was stabbed in a bar located in the area of St. Clair and Dufferin. He was taken to the hosptial with serious injuries which are not believed to be life threatening. A man in his 20s was arrested.
  • Aug. 23 - Shooting - Around 9 p.m., two men in their 20s were shot in a park near Islington and Finch Avenue W. They were driven to Etobicoke General Hospital by a friend where one of the men was treated and released. The other was tranferred to Sunnybrook Hospital where he is listed as having serious but non-life-threatening injuries. Police are searching for suspects.

  • Aug. 21 - Stabbing - Police were called to the Jane/Finch area around 5 p.m. and found two 18-year-old men who had been stabbed. One man was treated and released from hospital while the other remains in serious but stable condition. Police are looking for up to 10 teenage suspects.

  • Aug. 20 - Shooting - Around 8 a.m., shots were fired at 2 men in their 20s near Queen Street and West Lodge in the city's west end. One of the bullets struck a�van being driven by a man in his 40s who had his mother and 12-year-old son with him. There were no injuries and police do not have a description of the shooter.

  • Aug. 13 - Shooting Around 2:30 a.m., a fight developed in the parking lot of a banquet hall after a wedding reception. The hall is located in the Eglinton Ave. and Victoria Park area of Scarborough. During the fight, one man fired a shot but no injuries resulted from the use of the gun. Assault and gun charges were laid.

  • Aug. 9 - Stabbing - Around 11 p.m., a woman was stabbed in the area of Aurora Ct. and Bridletown Cr. in Scarborough. A man was arrested at the scene and the woman was taken to hosptial with non-life-threatening injuries.

  • Aug. 9 - Stabbing - Around 4:30 p.m., a woman was taken to hospital with stab wounds to her shoulder and thigh. The incident happened in the Weston Rd./Lawrence Ave. W. area of the city. Police are looking for another woman.

  • Aug. 7 - Stabbing - Around 3 a.m., two men walked into a Scarborough hospital with stab wounds. Their injuries are not considered life-threatening and they both refused to cooperate with police.

  • Aug. 6 - Stabbing - In the early morning hours, two men were stabbed at Yonge and Dundas during Caribana festivities. They were both taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

  • Aug. 6 - Stabbing - Around 5:45 a.m., a 42-year-old man was stabbed in the chest on Queen Street W. near Spadina Ave and was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

  • Aug. 3 - Shooting - Around 1 a.m., police and paramedics went to an apartment on Leila Lane in the Dufferin and Lawrence area in response ot a body being found there. While there, shots were fired at police, firefighters and paramedics, causing them to take cover. There were no injuries and no arrests.

  • Aug. 1 - Stabbing - Around 12:15 a.m., a 30-year-old man was stabbed in the abdomen in an apartment complex in the Jane St. and Wilson Ave. area of Downsview. He was taken to Sunnybrook Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. A 23-year-old woman has been charged with aggrevated assault.

  • July 31 - Shooting - Around 11 p.m., a man who had been shot in the head walked into Scarborough Grace Hospital. He was later transferred to St. Michael's Hospital for surgery to remove the bullet.

  • July 31 - Shooting - Around 3 a.m. a group of people left the Fox and Feather pub in the Kennedy Rd and Progress Ave. area of Scarborough and went to a Coffee Time coffee shop. They trashed the place and emptied the till, terrorizing the lone employee. At least one shot was fired.

  • July 30 - Shooting - Late in the evening shots were fired in the city's west end near Jameson and Springhurst. Shots were fired at two men aged 20 and 24. Neither man was injured and police are interviewing witnesses to attempt to find the shooters.

  • July 28 - Stabbing - A woman was slashed in the face and had her purse stolen by another woman around 3 p.m. in the area of Jane Street and St. Clair. Police have a description of the attacker.

  • July 28 - Stabbing - Around 2:30 a.m., a 30-year-old man was stabbed at least 4 times on Danforth Avenue near Greenwood. He was taken to St. Michael's Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Five people, including a woman, were taken into custody.

  • July 27 - Shooting - At approximately 3:45 p.m. a 19-year-old man was shot in the face near Jane and Finch. He was taken to hospital in serious condition. Police have a description of a suspect who may have fled the area by car.

  • July 27 - Stabbing - Shortly after midnight, a man in his 20s was found stabbed on Queen Street West near Bathurst St. He was taken to St. Michael's Hospital with life-threatening injuries. Police are looking for suspects.

  • July 25 - Stabbing - Around 10 a.m., a 40-year-old woman was stabbed in her apartment in the Martin Grove and Eglinton Avenue W. area of Etobicoke. She was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. A man that she lives with has been charged.

  • July 24 - Stabbing - Around noon, a 41-year-old woman was found in an alley off of Danforth Avenue near Coxwell. She had what appeared to be 3 puncture wounds to her neck. The woman was taken to St. Michael's Hospital in serious but stable condition. Due to her neck injuries, she has been unable to talk to police.

  • July 24 - Shooting - Around 3:30 a.m., several shots were fired in the parking lot of a nightclub in the Eglinton Avenue East and Danforth Rd. area, causing patrons to scatter. About half an hour later, a man showed up at Scarborough's Centenary Hospital with non-life-threatening gunshot injuries. Police are looking for suspects.

  • July 23 - Shooting - Around 3:30 p.m., a man was shot in the arm in front of Seaton House on George Street in the Dundas and Jarvis area of downtown. The man refused to cooperate with police.

  • July 23 - Shooting - Around 1:30 a.m., shots were fired in the area of Birchmount and Finch. No one was injured and police are seeking 2 black males.

  • July 22 - Shooting - Just before midnight, a man opened fire on two others. A woman was hit in the face from what is believed to have been debris from a wall. Police haven't made any arrests.

  • July 20 - Stabbing - Shortly after midnight, a 17-year-old youth was stabbed in the back outside of a high rise in the Markham and Eglinton area of Scarborough. He was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Witnesses reported that about 30 people were chasing 3 or 4 others when the youth was surrounded and stabbed.

  • July 17 - Stabbing - Around 10:15 a.m., a 22-year-old woman believed to be about 6 weeks pregnant was stabbed in the stomach and the abdomen with a small knife. She was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Her 25-year-old boyfriend was arrested at the scene.

  • July 17 - Shooting - Around 2 a.m., 3 people were shot on the rooftop patio of a nightclub on Richmond Street near John St. One man was declared dead at the scene while the other 2 were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Police are searching for several suspects.

  • July 15 - Stabbing - Shortly after 6:30 p.m., police were called to a wooded area of Flemington Park in the Don Mills and Overlea area. They found the lifeless body of a 17-year-old who had appeared to have been beaten. A later post-mortem found that the youth had died from stab wounds to the neck. Police are searching for suspects.

  • July 14 - Stabbing - Around 10 p.m., a man in his 20s was approached by about 10 men who demanded money. He was punched,kicked and then stabbed in the stomach. The victim was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The incident happened in the Jane and Lawrence Avenue area.

  • July 12 - Shooting - Around 7:20 p.m., police were called to an apartment above a bar on Weston Road near Eglinton Ave. W. They found a man in his 40s who had just been released from jail hours earlier with a gunshot wound to the head. He was rushed to Sunnybrook Hospital and later died of his injuries. Police are seeking 4 suspects who were seen leaving the area in a taxi.

  • July 12 - Shooting - A man in his 50s and a transvesite in his 30s were found shot in a garage on Canoe Crescent in the Neilson Rd. and Finch Avenue East area of Scarborough. The discovery was made around 8:30 p.m. by a resident of the home. Both victims were taken to Sunnybrook Hospital where they were pronounced dead. They were the 2nd and 3rd persons to die of gunshot wounds in Toronto in the past 24 hours.

  • July 11 - Shooting -�Shortly after 9 p.m. a�man in his 20s was shot in the chest at least twice in an apartment above a vacant store in the Dundas and Church area. When paramedics arrived he had no vital signs and was taken to St. Michael's Hospital where he was pronounced dead. Two suspects were seen fleeing the scene of the shooting.

  • July 9 - Shooting Shortly after 10 a.m., around 7 shots were fired in Regent Park near Dundas St. and Sumach. Men in a black car opened fire on two men riding bicycles. There were no injuries and police are looking for a black BMW.

  • July 9 - Shooting - Around 3:30 a.m., police went to 2195 Jane Street near Wilson in response to a gun call. About half an hour later a man in his 20s returned to the scene with a gunshot would in his buttock. Police have no suspects.

  • July 9 - Stabbing - Around 1:30 a.m., a man was stabbed in the arm and chest on Thorncliffe Park Drive in the Don Mills and Overlea area.

  • July 9 - Stabbing - Shortly after 1 a.m., a man walked into the Scarborough Grace Hospital with a stab wound to his neck. He was uncooperative with police and refused to give them any details about where the incident occurred and who stabbed him.

  • July 8-9 - Stabbings - In addition to the above 3 stabbings, police report that there were 4 more stabbings throughout Toronto during the late night/early morning hours of July 8-9.

  • July 8 - Stabbing - Around 11:15 p.m., a fight took place in a coffee shop on Drewry Avenue in the Yonge St. and Finch area. A man was stabbed in the abdomen.

  • July 8 - Shooting - Around 3:30 a.m., a 29-year-old man was shot in the leg and abdomen during a home invasion. The incident happened in an apartment located in the Markham Road and Eglinton Avenue area of Scarborough. The victim was taken to hospital in serious condition. No arrests have been� made.

  • July 6 - Stabbing - Police were called shortly after 11 p.m. after a man staggered home after being stabbed in the abodomen. The man's home was in the Victoria Park and Danforth area and he was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Police are unsure of where the stabbing took place and have no suspects.

  • July 5 - Shooting�- A man and a woman in their 20s�were shot while sitting in a car in front of a sports bar at Evans Avenue and Brown's line around 2:15 a.m. The woman was shot in the head and was taken to a hospital where she was pronounced dead. The man was shot in the leg and is in hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

  • July 3 - Shooting - Shortly after 9:30 p.m., a 36-year-old man was shot�3 times�while in an elevator at the Westin Harbour Castle Hotel located at Yonge St. and Queens Quay. He was taken to St. Michael's Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Police sealed off the hotel while they searched for the suspect.

  • July 2 - Shooting - Shortly after 4 a.m., police responded to shots being fired on Weston Rd near Rogers Rd. They found 2 victims, one of whom was declared dead at the scene. The other was transported to hospital.

  • July 1 - Stabbing - A man was stabbed in the chest at a Tim Horton's on Midland Avenue just south of Ellesmere in what appeared to be a random attack. The incident took place around 9:15 p.m. and the victim was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

  • July 1 - Stabbing - Around 6:30 p.m., a 21-year-old man was stabbed in the back by two unknown assailants in the Bloor and Islington area of Toronto. He is in hospital in satisfactory condition.

  • June 30 - Stabbing -�A 40-year-old man was stabbed in the abdomen while waiting at a bus stop. The stabbing occurred around 7 a.m. at the corner of Bellamy Rd. and Lawrence Avenue. It is not known if the victim knew his attacker.

  • June 28 - Shooting - Around 8 p.m., two teengae brothers, aged 15 and 19, were shot. The shootings took place in the Sheppard and Neilson area of Scarborough. One brother was hit in the neck while the other was wounded in the upper thigh. Both teens were taken to Sunnybrook Hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. Police recovered a handgun and took a 15-year-old girl into custody whom they described as a person of interest.

  • June 28 - Shooting - Shortly after 1 a.m., shots were heard in the area of Sackville and Gerrard St. E. in the Regent Park area of downtown. Police were unable to locate the shooters or any victims but found 5 shell casings.

  • June 26 - Shooting - Shortly after 10 p.m. a 17-year-old boy was shot several times on Pape Avenue near Gamble. He was taken to St. Michael's Hospital where he is in critical condition. Police are seeking two men who were seen fleeing along Gamble Avenue.

  • June 26 - Shooting - Around 8:40 p.m., a man in his 40s was shot in the leg in near Shuter and Sherbourne in downtown Toronto. He was taken to St. Michael's hosptial with non-life-threatening injuries. Police believe that the shooter and the victim were known to each other.

  • June 24 - Stabbing - Around 10 p.m., a man walked into a Toronto police station and said that he had just killed someone. Police went to an apartment on Dundonald St. in the Wellesley and Church St. area of downtown. They found the body of a woman who had been stabbed to death in what was apparently a domestic dispute.

  • June 25 - Shooting - Shortly after midnight two men were shot outside of a 7-11 store located at College St. and Spadina Avenue. One man was shot in the neck while the second was shot five times in the chest. Both men were taken to St. Michael's Hospital in serious condition. It is believed there was a third victim who fled the area before police arrived.

  • June 24 - Shooting - Around 9:30 p.m., about 8 shots were fired in the Shuter and Sherbourne area. A short while later a man walked into St. Michael's Hospital with gunshot wounds. Neither the victim nor his friends are cooperating with police.

  • June 23 - Shooting - During the late evening, a bouncer at the Brass Rail strip club on Yonge near Charles was shot outside the club. The man in his 30s was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

  • June 23 - Shooting - A man believed to be in his 20s was shot to death in Scarborough in the area of Markham Rd. and Sheppard Avenue. Police are searching for two suspects.

  • June 22 - Stabbing - Shortly after 7 p.m., a man was stabbed numerous times in the chest and back while celebrating Ghana's World Cup win in front of a strip plaza in the Jane and Wilson area. He was taken to Sunnybrook Hospital and pronounced dead. Three people have been arrested.
  • June 19 - Shooting - Around 6:30 p.m., two men began shooting at each other from different sides of the street on Mt. Olive Drive in the Albion Rd. and Kipling Ave. area of Rexdale. At least one of the shooters was using a machine gun. There were no injuries and police have two men in custody.

  • June 19 - Shooting - Around 7:30 p.m., a teen was shot in the leg at a McDonald's restaurant at the corner of Pape and Cosburn. Both the shooter and the victim fled before police arrived.

  • June 19 - Stabbing - A man was stabbed near two crack houses located in the Dundas and Jones Avenue area of east Toronto. He was taken to St. Michael's hospital suffering from life-threatening injuries. A 24-year-old man has been charged with aggrevated assault.

  • June 18 - Shooting - Around 3 p.m., a man in his late teens was shot in the arm in�a drive-by shooting. He was taken to Sunnybrook Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Police found shell casings at the scene near Sheppard Avenue and Neilson Road. No suspects are in custody.

  • June 17 - Shooting - Around 10:30 p.m., a man in his teens walked into a hospital with a bullet wound to his stomach. The shooting is believed to have happened in the Eglinton Avenue and Scarlett Road area. The man is in serious condition but his injuries are not life threatening.

  • June 17 - Shooting - Around 2 p.m., the Emergency Task Force went to the area of Pape and Danforth after reports of shots being fired. The shots were thought to come from a Blake Avenue townhouse but a search by police failed to turn up anything.

  • June 17 - Shooting - Around 1:20 a.m., a man in his teens was shot in the lower body. The shooting happened in the Islington/Lakeshore area of Etobicoke. The man was taken to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

  • June 17 - Shooting- Shortly after 1 a.m., shots were fired in the area of Hwy 427 and Finch Avenue West. There were no reports of injuries and no arrests have been made.

  • June 16 - Shooting - Around 6:30 p.m., five shots were fired into the air at Ryerson University in downtown Toronto. The shooting was observed by university security and 3 men were later arrested.

  • June 15 - Stabbing - Around 6 p.m., a man who is believed to be emotionally disturbed was arrested after he stabbed another man in the back in an unprovoked attack. The incident happened in a strip mall on Bathurst St. just south of Lawrence. The victim was taken to hospital suffering from non-life-threatening injuries.

  • June 15 - Stabbing - Around 7:30 p.m., a 19-year-old man was stabbed in the hip and side in the Lawrence Avenue/Overture Rd. area of Toronto. The victim, who was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries refused to cooperate with police.

  • June 14 - Stabbing - Around 1:15 p.m., a 30-year-old man was found with stab wounds on the top floor of a building on Weston Road just north of Eglinton. He was taken to hospital where he later died from his injuries. Police are looking for suspects.

  • Jun 12- Shooting - Police were called to a basketball court in the Jane and Wilson area around 9:30 p.m.�They found the body of a man who had been shot to death. A second man, who was found a short distance away, had been shot in the stomach and was taken to hospital. Police are searching for a suspect.

  • June 11 - Stabbing - Around 6 p.m., shortly after Portugal's victory at the World Cup, a fight broke out in Toronto's Little Portugal area. Two men, brothers, were stabbed and slashed with broken beer bottles near Dundas St. and Ossington Ave. They were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

  • June 11 - Shooting - Around 2:45 a.m., a man and a woman were shot at the Have-A-Nap Motel located near Kingston Road and Brimley in Scarborough. The man was shot in the chest, taken to hospital, treated and released. The woman was shot in the head and is in hospital in critical condition. Another man, believed to be the woman's estranged husband, has been arrested and charged with attempted murder.

  • June 6 - Shooting - Around 12:30 p.m. shots were fired in the area of Jarvis and Front Streets. A man in his 20s received wounds to his lower torso and was taken to hospital. Police are searching for 3 suspects.

  • June 3 - Stabbing - A 60-year-old woman was found stabbed to death in an apartment in the Keele and Finch area around 5:30 p.m. The woman's son has been taken into custody.

  • June 3 - Stabbing - Around 3 a.m., a man was slashed across the throat in front of a bar located at the corner of Coxwell Avenue and O'Connor Drive in the city's east end. The knife was recovered and police are searching for suspects.

  • June 3 - Shooting - A man believed to be in his 20s was shot to death in an after-hours club located on Weston Road near Lawrence Avenue. He was pronounced dead at the scene shortly after 6 a.m. There is no word on suspects.

  • June 2 - Stabbings - Around 3:30 a.m., 2 Beck Taxi drivers were stabbed in the Entertainment District. The stabbings are believed to have occurred after a man kicked one of the cabs and the driver called for assistance. Both cab drivers were treated for non-life-threatening injuries. A 22-year-old man was arrested at the scene.

  • May 30 - Shooting - A 28-year-old man was shot in the stomach�in front of a bar near Kingston Road and Galloway Road around 5:30 p.m. Police are looking for 2 suspects.

  • May 28 - Shooting - Around 3:30 p.m., two groups of young men started fighting in the Dawes Rd, Gower Street area of Toronto. The fight occurred just outside a restaurant patio in a heavily populated area. During the course of the fight, two shots were fired from a sawed-off shotgun. One man received head injuries, taken to St. Michael's Hospital, treated and released although it was not clear that he had been shot.

  • May 28 - Shooting - During the late evening, an 18-year-old man was shot and killed in a hallway of a highrise apartment building located on Scarborough Golf Club Rd. near Lawrence Avenue. Police are searching for several suspects.

  • May 24 - Stabbing - Around 11:30 p.m., a man in his 20s was stabbed in the city's west end in the Keele St. and Rogers Rd. area. He was slashed in the face and stabbed in the ribs. The man was taken to St. Michael's Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

  • May 23 - Shooting - Around 3:30 a.m., shots were fired in the area of Sewells Rd. and Neilson. Police who responded to the scene found a car in a parking lot with a bullet hole on the driver's side.

  • May 20 - Shooting - A man in his 20s was shot in the leg. Police found the man around 8 p.m. in front of an elementary school in the Lawrence Avenue and Weston Road area. They believe that he was shot elsewhere and dumped in front of the school. He was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and police are seeking two suspects.

  • May 19 - Shooting - Around 7:30 p.m., several shots were fired into homes in the McCowan/Sheppard area of Scarborough. A 6-year-old girl who was watching TV with her 4-year-old sister received minor injuries when she was struck by flying glass from a window shattered by bullets. Police are looking for 4 supsects who fled the area in a vehicle.
  • May 16 - Shooting - Several shots were fired around 5:15 p.m. on Fallstaff Avenue in the Jane and Wilson area. One of the bullets entered a 6th floor apartment, narrowly missing a baby who was in the apartment with her mother.

  • May 15 - Stabbing - A woman believed to be in her 20s was stabbed to death in a residence on Grange Avenue in the Dundas and Spadina Avenue area of downtown. The killing that police are calling a domestic assault, happened around 3:30 a.m. Police have one man in custody.

  • May 15 - Stabbing - Around 3 a.m., a man in his 30s was stabbed on the street in front of 333 Adelaide St. He was taken to St. Michael's Hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

  • �May 13 - Shooting - Around 10:30 p.m., a 19-year-old man was shot in the head near Victoria Park and St. Clair. He was rushed to Sunnybrook Hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. He was the fourth person to be shot in Toronto this weekend. No arrests were made.

  • May 13 - Shooting - Shortly before 1:30 a.m., two men were shot in the area of Kennedy Road and Lawrence Avenue. One man was hit in the hand while the second was shot in the face. The victims are not cooperating with police and police suspect this incident may be connected to the previous shooting at Kennedy and Eglinton.

  • May 12 - Shooting - Around 11p.m., a man in his 20s was shot in the stomach and foot in front of a pizza restaurant in the Kennedy Road/Eglinton Avenue area. He was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

  • May 12 - Shooting - Shortly after 5 a.m., a 26-year-old man was walking in the area of Queen and Lansdowne when he suffered injuries to his head and back from shotgun pellets. He was taken to the hospital where he was treated and released. Police are looking for the shooter.

  • May 10 - Shooting - Around 5 p.m., a man was shot in the arm in the Dupont and Lansdowne Avenue. A short distance away, a bullet pierced the windshield of a van. Police have no motive for the shootings and no suspects.

  • May 8 - Shooting - Around 7:30 p.m., a road rage incident escalated with shots being fired. The fight between 2 motorists occurred in the area of Islington and Eglinton Avenues No one was injured and one man is in custody.
  • May 7 - Shooting - Around 3 a.m. a man was shot outside of a sports bar in a strip mall located in the Jane Street and Wilson area. He was shot in the thighs and lower leg and was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Police are searching for a suspect.

  • May 4 - Shooting - A 23-year-old man was shot in the leg around 11 p.m. in front of a townhouse in the area of Martingrove and John Garland Blvd in north Etobicoke.� He was taken to the William Osler Health Centre�and�his�injuries are not life-threatening. The victim has refused to cooperate with police.

  • May 3 - Stabbing - Around noon, a teen was stabbed while playing basketball at Percy Johnson Catholic Secondary School near Finch and Hwy. 400. The 18-year-old was taken to hospital for injuries to his face and body, treated and then released. Police are looking for 2 men.

  • May 2 - Stabbing - A woman was taken to hospital with minor injuries after being cut in the neck during a domestic dispute in the Neilson Rd. and Sheppard Avenue area of Scarborough. A man was arrested and a large knife was recovered.

  • May 2 - Stabbing - At approximately 3:25 a.m. a taxi driver was stabbed several times in the back, chest and neck. He was driving on Coxwell Avenue near Danforth and hit a parked car while trying to protect himeself. The driver was taken to St. Michael's Hospital with serious life-threatening injuries. Police are searching for a suspect who was seen running from the scene.

  • Apr. 30 - Shooting- Around 2 p.m., a car travelling on Sheppard Avenue W. near Jane St.cut off a TTC bus. A passenger then fired two shots at a group of people waiting at a bus stop. No one was hit and the vehicle then fled.

  • Apr. 30 - Shooting - Around 3 a.m. one man was beaten and another was shot in the head in a bar on Albion Road near Hwy 27. The 21-year-old who was shot was taken to Sunnybrook Hospital where he is listed in serious but stable condition. Police are looking for suspects.

  • Apr. 29 - Around 2 a.m., a man was shot and killed on St. Dennis Drive in the Don Mills and Eglinton area.Two men were scene fleeing the scene of the shooting.

  • Apr. 28 - A man was shot in the elbow around 10 p.m.on Chester Le Blvd. in the Finch and Victoria Park area. He was rushed to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

  • Apr. 28 - Shortly before 6 p.m. a group of men were arguing in front of a home in the Markham and Sheppard Avenue area of Scarborough. Shots were fired and bullets entered two homes and a car. A man and his 9-year-old daughter were in one of the homes and the father reported that a bullet just missed the little girl. The suspects fled in several vehicles.

  • Apr. 28 - Around noon, shots were reported to have been fired in an apartment building on Keele Street near Sheppard Avenue. A bullet went into the floor and into the apartment below. The woman in that apartment was not injured. Police swept the building and arrested 3 men on various weapons charges.

  • Apr. 25 - Around 10:15 p.m., a man in his early 20s was shot twice on Chester Le Boulevard in the Victoria Park/Finch Avenue area. He was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries to his leg and groin. Police are looking for the gunman.

  • Apr. 20 - Around 1 a.m., police responding to a gun call found a 24-year-old man lying in a park in the Neilson Rd. and Finch Avenue area of Scarborough. He had been shot in the face and was rushed to hospital where he is in serious but stable condition. Police are searching for suspects.

  • Apr. 16 - Around 4 a.m., a man was shot in the foot at a house party on Lambton Avenue in the city's west end. He was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries and police are looking for one suspect who fled the scene.

  • Apr. 14 -� Just before midnight, a man was shot in the leg in a convenience store located near Neilson Rd. and Tapscott in Scarborough. He was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Police are looking for 3 men.

  • Apr. 13 - Around 3 a.m. 2 men and 2 women were shot on the dance floor of the Carribean Flavour nightclub in the Kennedy and Ellesmere area of Scarborough. All 4 are in hospital with injuries to their lower bodies and all are expected to recover. Police later arrested 2 men and recovered 2 guns.

  • Apr. 5 - Around 9 p.m., police received reports of shots being fired around Eglinton Avenue and Weston Road. When they arrived they found shell casings, broken glass and some blood but could not find any victims.

  • Apr. 1 - Shortly before 4 p.m., police received a report that shots were fired at a man on Duncanwoods Road in the Finch/Islington area. A 23-year-old and a 17-year-old were arrested and guns and ammunition were recovered. The victim was not injured. Police are seeking 2 more suspects.

  • Apr. 1 - Shortly after 3 a.m., a man was attempting to break up a fight between two others when he was shot in the leg. The incident happened in the parking lot of the Crystal Nightclub located in the Highway 27 and Albion Road area. The victim drove himself to hospita

  • Mar. 27 - Around 11 p.m., a man was found with vital signs absent in front of a building on Grandravine Drive in the Jane and Finch area of Toronto. He was revived by paramedics and taken to hospital, where he later died.

  • Mar. 27 - At approximately 10 p.m., 3 men, believed to be in their late teens or early 20s were shot near a pizza restaurant in the area of Weston Rd. and Eglinton Ave. One man was killed, another shot in both legs and the third was shot in the arm. The injured men are expected to survive.

  • Mar. 27 - At around 7 p.m. a woman in her 20s was shot in the leg while sitting in a car on St. Dennis Drive in the Don Mills and Eglinton area. She was taken to Sunnybrook Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

  • Mar. 26 - At around 4 a.m., a man was shot several times in the Sound Emporium, a nightclub in the Entertainment District that was packed with people at the time. The man was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

  • Mar. 26 - A 21-year-old man was shot in the leg around 2 a.m. in the St. Clair and Lansdowne area of Toronto's west end. Police are looking for suspects.

  • Mar. 22 - Around 9 p.m., shots were fired on Jane Street near St. Clair in the city's west end. Police were unable to find any suspects or victims but recovered shell casings from the scene. A gun was recovered from a nearby backyard.

  • Mar. 20 - Shortly before 3 p.m., police went to an apartment at 275 Bleecker Street located in the Wellesley Street/Sherbourne Street area of downtown Toronto. They found a man who had been shot in the chest. The victim had no vital signs when paramedics arrived.

  • Mar. 19 - Around 7 p.m. a man was shot in in the Neilson Road/Sheppard Avenue area; the same area where shots were fired earlier in the day. The man was dropped off at a hospital with what are believed to be non-life-threatening injuries.

  • Mar. 19 - Shortly before 4 p.m. someone knocked on the door of a home in the Neilson Road/Sheppard Avenue area of Scarborough and the door was opened by a�15-year-old boy. Afterwards, two shots were fired at the home; one hitting the door and other the window. There were no injuries reported although small children were in the home. Police are searching for a suspect.

  • Mar. 19 - Around 2 a.m., a teenager was shot twice in the stomach in the Lawrence Avenue and Keele Street area. Early reports indicated that his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening. Police are searching for suspects.

  • Mar. 17 - Around 3:15 a.m., a man was shot in the stomach outside of a bar located in the Kennedy Road and Eglinton Avenue area of Scarborough. He was taken to hospital and is listed in serious condition. Two people have been arrested.

  • Mar. 14 - Between 6:30 and 7:00 pm, a 38-year-old man was shot to death in his van that was parked in the laneway of a strip mall at Markham Road and Eglinton Avenue East. He was shot once in the face at close range.

  • Mar. 12 - At approximately 9 p.m. a man in his 30s was shot and killed in a driveway near Finch Avenue West and Weston Road. He was shot in the chest and pronounced dead at the scene.

  • Mar 10 - Just before 5 p.m., a 15-year-old boy was shot in front of an apartment building in the Jane and Sheppard Avenue area. He was taken to hospital and is listed in serious but stable condition. Police are looking for 4 or 5 suspects.

  • Mar. 8 - At approximately 10 p.m., shots were fired from a car at another car containting two men. The shooting took place near an entrance to Yorkdale Mall in North York. There were no injuries and police are looking for 3 suspects.

  • Mar. 8 - Around 4 p.m. a 17-year-old was shot in the stomach near Sir John A. Macdonald Collegiate on Pharmacy Avenue in Scarborough. He was rushed to Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre where he is listed in serious condition. Police have no suspects.

  • Mar. 5 - Two men were injured when shots were fired in a parking lot on the Lakeshore just west of Kipling Avenue around 2:30 a.m. It is not clear whether the men were shot or were injured by glass that was shattered by the shots. Police are looking for one suspect.

  • Feb. 25 - Around 4 a.m., a 22-year-old man was shot in the back in the west end near College and Crawford. He was taken to a hospital, treated and released. Police are searching for one suspect.

  • Feb. 24 - At approximately 11 p.m., a man was shot in the neck and face outside of a Sobey's supermarket on Danforth Avenue near Main Street. His condition is unknown and police are looking for 3 suspects.

  • Feb. 22 - Around midnight, a 19-year-old man was shot in the back near Port Union Road and 401. He is listed in serious condition in hospital. Police are not revealing many details but the SIU has been called in to investigate.

  • Feb. 12 - Shortly after midnight a 57-year-old grandmother was shot in the chest in an apartment in the Gerrard Street and Bayview Avenue area. The bullet just grazed her and she was taken to hospital, treated and released. The woman was uncooperative with police but they suspect that she may have been the victim of a home invasion.

  • Feb. 7 - Around 10 p.m., a 27-year-old man was shot 4 times at Guildwood Village near the Scarborough Bluffs. He managed to get to a nearby house and was taken to hospital in serious condition. Police believe the shooting took place during a drug deal.

  • Feb. 6 - Two people were shot in the Jane and Sheppard area shortly after 11 p.m. A 19-year-old woman was driving through the parking lot of the Northwood Community Centre when she and a 21-year-old male passenger were shot. The woman later succumbed to her injuries. The man was shot in the shoulder and has non-life-threatening injuries.
  • Feb. 7 - At approximately 3 a.m., a man was shot in the chest in the area of Bloor and Lansdowne area of Toronto. He is in hospital in serious condition.
  • Feb. 2 - Shortly after 7 p.m. shots were fired in a hallway in an apartment building located at 10 San Romano Way in the Jane and Finch area. At least 6 shots were fired, 3 of which entered the cupboard of the apartment of a woman who was home with her 9-year-old daughter. There were no injuries and police are searching for suspects.

  • Feb. 2 - In the early morning hours, 2 men and a woman were shot on Atlas Avenue in the Oakwood and Vaughan Road area. Two of those shot are in serious condition.

  • Feb. 1 - Shortly after 11 p.m., two men were sitting in a vehicle in front of an apartment building onEmpringham Drive in the Morningside and Sheppard area. Shots were fired at their car from two passing vehicles. The passenger managed to escape unscathed while the driver suffered minor injuries.

  • Jan. 28 -� A 27-year-old man was shot several times shortly after 3 a.m. in the Landsdowne and St. Clair Avenue area. He was rushed to St. Michael's Hospital and was listed in serious condition with non-life-threatening injuries.

  • Jan. 27 - Around 3:30 p.m., a 20-year-old man was shot at least twice by another man in the Jane/Finch area of Toronto. He was taken to Sunnybrook Hospital and is listed in stable condition.

  • Jan. 27 - At approximately 9:30 p.m., shots were fired into a vehicle from another vehicle near Brimley Road and Eglinton Avenue. There were no injuries.

  • �Jan. 26 - Around 10:30 p.m. a man was shot at the Warden subway station in what was believed to have been a robbery attempt. The victim managed to get on a train and go to the Woodbine station�where he got off and reported the incident. The victim was shot in the arm and was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

  • Jan. 23 - A drive-by shooting took place on Bleeker Street in the Carlton Street and Wellesley area of downton at around 3 p.m. One man was hit in the lower torso and taken to hospital.

  • Jan. 21 - A high school championship basketball game took place at Centennial College in the Markham Road and 401 area of Scarborough. Shortly after 8 p.m., a group of about 10 approached the 19-year-old victim and stabbed him several times and shot him in the stomach.�The victim�was taken to Sunnybrook Hospital and underwent surgery. He is expected to survive.

  • Jan. 20 - Shortly after 7 p.m., a man in his 20s was found suffering from gunshot wounds on Graydon Hall Drive in the Don Mills Road and Sheppard area. He was taken to Sunnybrook� Hospital and is listed in serious condition.

  • Jan. 19 - At approximately 9:30 p.m., a man walked out of a bar on the Queensway near Islington Avenue after an argument. It is alleged that that he fired a shot through the window that narrowly missed the bartender. A 23-year-old man is in custody and faces several charges including attempted murder.

  • Jan. 19 - At around 10:30 p.m., several shots were fired from a car at a karaoke bar located in the Victoria Park and Steeles Avenue area. No one was injured and there were no arrests.

  • Jan. 17 - A day after Guardian Angels founder Curtis Sliwa left Toronto saying that the gang situation was going to get worse, a group of youths engaged in a shootout behind an apartment building in the Rexdale Blvd. and Islington Avenue Road area. A 17-year-old was hit twice in the upper body and is listed in serious but stable condition.

  • Jan. 15 - At approximately 3:40 a.m. a 17-year-old male was standing in a bus shelter with his mother near Danforth Road and Trudelle Street. Shots were fired from a passing car and the youth was injured when one of the bullets grazed his leg.

  • Jan. 15 - Around midnight, a woman showed up at Toronto Western Hospital with an apparent gunshot wound to the face. Unconfirmed reports suggest that she was sitting with a man in a vehicle at a park near Park Lawn and Lakeshore when she was shot.

  • Jan. 14 - At approximately 6 p.m., shots were fired in the Jarvis and Dundas area of downtown. No one was hurt but a car was hit. There is some speculation that the shooters might have been undercover police officers.

  • Jan 14 - At around 7 p.m., two men were arguing in front of a convenience store on River Street near Oak. One man�pulled out a handgun and shot the other. A 19-year-old man was shot in the leg and taken to St. Michael's Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

  • Jan 9 - At around 3:15 a.m., shots were fired in the Entertainment District near John Street and Adelaide. There were no reports of injuries or who the shooters were but shell casings were found in the area.

  • Jan. 9 - At approximately 2:30 a.m. a 70-year-old man was shot in the upper body outside of a nightclub located in the Weston Road and Sheppard area of northwestern Toronto. He is expected to survive.

  • Jan. 5 - Shortly after noon, shooting erupted in a strip mall on Birchmount Road south of Finch Avenue. One man was hit and was taken to Scarborough Grace Hospital. He was later tranferred to Sunnybrook where he is listed in serious condition.

  • Jan. 1 - So much for 2005 being "the year of the gun". At approximately 5 a.m. a 21-year-old man was shot in the Dufferin Street and Eglinton Avenue area of Toronto. He was rushed to Sunnybrook Hospital where he was pronounced dead. Needless to say it was the first murder and the first handgun death of the year.
