I suggest you trust your “lying eyes” because it’s crystal clear that the White House is lying.This is not just about the lie, but the international symbolism. This is about a man who campaigned as a Christian, yet showed the utmost in respect to a Muslim king. This is about the appearance of undeclared allegiances, and yet another example of youthful arrogance and immaturity.
President Obama voluntarily bent his knee and bowed his head before the most important ruler in the Islamic world. Let us hope that it does not require a war to right this insult to American sovereignty. Via Right Wing News we have a couple of interesting take (emphasis mine) from the Arab media:
The Washington Times called it a “shocking display of fealty to a foreign potentate.” A Saudi-backed Arabic paper considered it a show of “respect and appreciation of the personality of King Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz,” and possibly evidence that BHO is still a Muslim. But an Obama lackey — speaking in anonymity in keeping with the administration’s policy of “transparency” — impudently claims that the Moonbat Messiah didn’t bow at all, “It wasn’t a bow. He grasped his hand with two hands, and he’s taller than King Abdullah.”
President Obama promised that his administration would be this welcomed break from the dishonesty of those past. Maybe he should consult with former president Clinton about the political peril of playing loose with the truth.
