Will America’s Nobel Peace Prize Winner Invade Arizona?
President Obama’s commitment to peace through diplomacy (surrender if necessary), is being put to that test that Joe Biden forecast about ten months ago.
However, it is not Obama’s Afghanistan war, or the mess in Pakistan, or even Kim Jong Il and his “Fireworks over the Pacific” show of shows that is tweaking our reluctant warrior in the Oval Office.
True enough, concerns about Russia, Iran, and the 5,000-year war between the Palestinians and the Jews disrupt the president’s sleep occasionally, but all pale in comparison to the individual that really chafes Barack Obama’s ultra-sensitive skin and psyche.
That would be American patriot and law and order poster boy Sheriff Joe Arpaio who said the equivalent of ‘Go to Hell!’ to Janet Napolitano and her demand that the good sheriff cease and desist in enforcing the law.

“Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio, whose sweeps have led to allegations of racial profiling, said the rebuff from Washington won’t stop him. He said he can still arrest immigrants under a state smuggling law and a federal law that gives all local police agencies more limited power to detain suspected illegal immigrants.
‘It doesn’t bother me, because we are going to do the same thing,” said Arpaio, whose deputies had arrested 16 people by Friday evening on unspecified charges. ‘I am the elected sheriff. I don’t take orders from the federal government.”
That sort of public rebellion is something that Barack Obama is not accustomed to, what with his Messiahship, Nobel Peace Prize, and mandate from the American people in place, although the later has eroded significantly according to recent polls.
Still, even at 43 percent, BHO is the president, Commander-in-chief, savior to the world, and Holy Omnipotent One.
At least in his curious mind, that is.
Perhaps Sheriff Joe did not get the news, Mr. President?
Maybe Arpaio continues to operate under the delusion that America operates in accordance with the rule of law, that the Constitution still has meaning and force, and that just because one happens to be a good hearted, hard working fruit picker does not entitle one to ignore U.S. borders and immigration laws?
As this David and Goliath story unfolds, one must remember that it is the president who has the Marines, Army, Air Force, Navy, and Coast Guard at his beckon call.
Sheriff Joe, on the other hand, has only the law and common sense on his side.
Pity that the balance of power is not the exact opposite, but that is what 69 million idiots voting against W. has wrought.
The burning question of the day: Will our Nobel Peace Prize laden president choose a military response to a lonely sheriff?
Will Barack Obama invade Arizona to preserve the Hispanic vote and to save Janet Napolitano’s resume?
