Congress has, in their beneficence, decided that there will be no cost of living raise in 2010 for social security recipients.

Congress and the Senate on the other hand will receive a $4,700.00 cost of living allowance or whatever you want to call it in 2010.

The really dastardly part of it is that they have it fixed so that it is automatic and they, claiming plausible deniability, can say I didn’t vote for it.

A lot of people have been crying for relief from these parasites for a long time and the numbers are growing daily. This is just one more reason why we need to vote ALL incumbents out of office (we can no longer afford these bums, they are bleeding us dry).

We are sinking like the Titanic, while these ignorant schmucks continue leading the soft life at our expense, and choose not to see what should be as obvious as the nose on their faces.

In today’s Wall Street Journal, I read a headline on an article that says; “Obama says we need to keep spending our way back to jobs and prosperity”, and this Jackass went to Harvard!!!

Just a bit of food for thought:

Start with all new congressmen and senators and pay cap them at $100 thousand a year (no automatic pay raises).

Term limits shall be a maximum of two terms, 2 in the house or two in the senate but not both.

Retirement pay = 50% of your congressional pay but not available until age 65.

You can’t put relatives on the payroll and you can’t play you hire mine and I will hire yours either.

You can’t be a lobbyist for 10 years after you leave office.

If you start getting greedy by way of lobbyist money, you and the lobbyist will both go to jail. That may sound a bit Draconian, but how else are we to rid ourselves of these parasites and their sleazy practices?

Someone told me that Harry Reid has three sons and a son In law who are all registered lobbyists, boy talk about access.

It should be made quite clear to the new bunch coming in that they have 6 months to enact the above provisions into law, or they will be looking for a new job after only 1 term.

I don’t know if it can be done, but we should have some legal minds look into the possibility of reducing the retirement packages of the current bunch of thieves (most of who have been there for 20 or more years). If they have saved any of the money they have stolen over the years they should have a comfortable retirement without our money.

If any of my readers has any other provisions that might be considered I would love to hear them, (many ideas are better than just one).

When I look at the Congress and the Senate, I am reminded of the Waltzing congress of Vienna back in the 1800s, those elites didn’t accomplish a damn thing either, they just kept giving balls and dancing the nights away as if the bill would never come due.

News Flash Washington!!!

The bill is past due, and the fiddler wants to be paid.

You don’t write checks when there is no money in the bank, quit re- arranging deck chairs, the damn ship is sinking, do your job for real or go home.
