Reverend Jeremiah Wright makes you miss Al Sharpton

Watched the good Reverend Jeremiah Wright of Chicago unmercifully flapping his mouth and arms about like a frenzied stork at a NAACP banquet in Detroit the other night live on CNN.

This guys got to be the biggest clown to come out of the windy city since the legendary Bozo. Could you fathom the useless bile coming out of this so called beacon and self-proclaimed voice of black Americans. After denigrating the work that Jack and Bobby Kennedy achieved for civil rights what’s next for this highly over publicized blob of racist rhetoric? Maybe a nice fireside rant on how the 16th President of the United States Abraham Lincoln was actually descended from Satan himself. I never thought I’d ever say this but after watching Wright, am I the only one who misses the relative humility and credibility owned by the Rev. Al Sharpton.
At least with Sharpton absolutely everyone regardless of race or creed could get a chuckle out of his nonsensical shtick and blatant self promotion.

Lolita like Miley Cyrus

So it looks like poor young Miley Cyrus has an achy breaky heart over some sexpot pictures that are running in this month’s Vanity Fair where the 15-year-old phenom is shown in photos taken by the legendary photog of the stars Annie Leibowitz. It was only after the issue was released that everyone,  including Cyrus’s sugar daddy The Disney Corporation went into stroke mode over the controversial pics. 15-year-old Miley sent out a press release saying that she was ultimately embarrassed by the spread and was sorry that they were done in that fashion. A little word of advice to the star of the incredibly successful TV show Hanna Montana, you should be more embarrassed about the brain numbing schlock that you guys call a TV show than a few Lolita like magazine pictures.

Thanks Israel, Shame on Jimmy Carter

We in the free world without a doubt owe our greatest friend and ally Israel another debt of gratitude for blowing the soon to be
operational nuclear reactor in Syria a number of months back. It is only now that the world is being told about just how close the site
was to being fully operational and that it was being built solely for non peaceful use. Just another debt we owe our great friend and
powerful partner in the unstable Middle East. Shame on some dunderhead like former President Jimmy Carter who actually got together and embarrassed us all travelling to Syria for a sit-down with representatives of the terrorist organization Hamas.

The Roger Clemons Affair

A report has come out that controversial major league star Roger Clemons had a long term relationship years ago with country star Mindy McCready, starting when the troubled crooner was only 15. That may answer a few questions about his alleged steroid use. A man just has to keep his strength up.

Coaching Days of Sam Mitchell

Anyone out there ready to take me on on a bet whether Toronto Raptors head coach Sam Mitchell makes it to the middle of May before being dumped by Raps big cheese Bryan Colangelo? The Raps who lost in the first round of the playoffs to the Orlando Magic seemed to take a step back this year in performance and it gives Colangelo the opportunity to dump Mitchell,  whom he reportedly didn’t want at the helm of the team in the first place.
