Apparently liberals (progressives, Marxists, commies, socialists, etc.) don’t get it. From vicious personal attacks on Sarah Palin (non-candidate but marketing guru) by somewhat successful far-left screenwriter Aaron Sorkin to over-the-hill and way past retirement Barbara Walters to various lame duck Democrats seething over having to abandon their perks, the noise has been as constant and whiney as a cat in heat.
Yet, with each screech, with every name calling episode, the liberal agenda in Washington and throughout the USA crumbles at a rate approaching the speed of light.
The MSM is perhaps the most fun to watch as the alphabets try to glean some encouraging news from a failed presidency. But even their spin is being seen as a desperate attempt to save the hopey-changey promise that was once Obama. And the fact that they concentrate so fiercely on an ex-governor, shows just how desperate they are to deflect the focus of public opinion away from Barack Obama.
What in the world are they afraid of? That Sarah Palin might run for the presidency in 2012? Or that she just might make mince meat of her opponent in a televised debate. Because we all know now that the so called Messiah is no oratorical phenom. Without a steady stream of teleprompter notes, Barack Obama is the political equivalent of Porky. Um, Er, um, Pig!
The firepower from the Left is relentless. They simply attempt to eviscerate by personal attack anyone who has the eye and ear of the vast majority of the country. Rush Limbaugh is attacked daily, Glen Beck also is not seen for who he is now—but the drunk he once was. Every promising politician on the Right has a file just waiting to be opened and laid out for public consumption.
But with each attack it seems there is a retreat in the ratings. CNN, MSNBC, CBS, ABC, NBC, the New York Times, Washington Post, and all the wannabes—keep losing market share and support and are collapsing like mini-Metrodomes.
When Obama is scolded by bloggers, Drudge, and talk radio for taking yet another vacation, The MSM tries to ride to the rescue with attacks on former presidents and their time spent away from the White House and, of course, adjusted for inflation!
So keep the personal attacks coming! It’s selling more books, conservative talk radio ratings are way up, FOX has five times the market share of the other cable outlets, The Tea Party is growing and becoming an even more powerful political force, and TLC is gleaning advertising gold from Sarah’s Alaska! Please, yell louder!
