Jared Loughner: Modern Liberalism’s Natural Consequence

"Necessity is the plea for every infringement of human freedom. It is the argument of tyrants, it is the creed of slaves." - William Pitt Sheriff Dupnik of Pima County Arizona is a Democrat. He is also a partisan hack who apparently sees law enforcement through partisan spectacles, and who therefore needs to retire. If he keeps on making stupid and ignorant partisan allegations, he will seal the fate of, and all but destroy the Democrat Party in Arizona.

Do we see a pattern here? The Democrats and the Left have a long tradition of vile insinuation and slander:
  1. The Democrats blamed John Kennedy's assassination on Right Wing Extremists. That is, until they found out that Lee Harvey Oswald was a Marxist Operative who supported Castro ... Still, they persisted to blast the Right until they finally punted the football to weird folks [like Oliver Stone] who now like to blame the CIA ... and the atmosphere of hate created by the Right. The the Democrats pretended that to act in such fashion so was not shameful, because after all the Right is evil ... oops!
  2. They blamed Robert F. Kennedy's assassination on Right Wing Extremists ... that is until the killer was identified as Sirhan Sirhan, a Palestinian Anti-Semite who hated RFK's support of Israel. After this assassination, the Democrats sought to abolish or alter the Second Amendment. But after all was said and done, the Democrat's jump to conclusions was excusable in their minds because the Right is evil ... oops!
  3. The Democrats blamed Martin Luther King's assassination on Right Wing Extremists. Then they discovered that James Earl Ray was a convicted felon who had twice escaped from prisons, who was also a white supremacist, who hated Blacks and saw MLK as a threat. It was proven Ray acted alone. The Democrats looked for a way to abolish or alter Second Amendment rights. There was no vast Right Wing Conspiracy. But the Democrats said their assumptions were only natural because the Right is evil ... oops!
  4. When Mark David Chapman assassinated John Lennon, Democrats and Leftists rushed to suggest that Richard Nixon was making aggressive FBI/CIA checks on Lennon and trying to deport Lennon for alleged subversive political activities. It turns out that Chapman assassinated Lennon as a result of a disturbed and unbalanced mind. The Democrats wanted to change or abolish Second Amendment rights. There was no Right Wing Conspiracy. But because Nixon was reviled by the Left it was worth a shot to blame the Right ... oops!
  5. When President Gerald Ford survived two separate assassination attempts in 1975, there was no big rush to judgment by Republicans. Lynette "Squeaky" Fromme, a dangerous member from the Anarchist Manson Family and a part of the militant environmentalist movement. She threatened Ford with a .45 caliber M1911 pistol at him. [Later in 1987, and still loyal to Manson, she escaped from prison for a while.] Seventeen days later, Sarah Jane Moore shot at Ford with an illegally procured firearm. There was no GOP clamor to restrict the Second Amendment and no one blamed Democrats or the Environmentalist Movement. Incredibly, Sarah Moore was released from Federal Prison in December 2007, and Fromme was released in August 2009 ... after attempting to kill a President of the United States. The Democrats were largely silent and did not rush to justice over these two Leftist criminals. But they did seek to weaken the Second Amendment in the years to follow.
  6. When John Hinckley tried to kill President Ronald Reagan, there was no rush by the GOP to look for a Left-wing Conspiracy. Reagan recovered, but never sought draconian measures to protect himself as a result of the attack, restrict free speech or to limit gun rights. The Democrats again sought to restrict the Second Amendment. Also, as a bonus, the MSM media gleefully pointed out that the Hinckley family had ties to George H. W. Bush's failed 1980 Presidential Primary Campaign. Why? ... to ensure everyone that it was not the Left [who hated Reagan] who was responsible, but a wealthy scion of the GOP.
  7. Countless Democrat, Liberal and Left-wing pundits spoke non-stop in the crudest, vilest terms about George W. Bush and Dick Cheney for eight full years and even well into the Obama Presidency. It was not simply name calling and ridicule, that is to be expected from the Left. But they took it to the next level. At one point, the Left even made and released a film about the assassination of George W. Bush. Despicable!
After all of this tragedy in Tucson Arizona, you would think the Democrats would have the decency to shut up, let families bury their dead and focus on Representative Gifford's and others' recovery. But no, they persist in falsely comparing the Tea Party to terrorists. They continue to blame [with their very own hate-filled diatribes] Talk Radio, Sarah Palin, Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck, and Bill O'Reilly. And as a constant theme, they call for restrictions of Free Speech, and our Right to Keep and Bear Arms. It is time for We the People to say, "Enough!" Meanwhile: Our borders are still porous. Drug wars rage in Mexico and are spilling over into Arizona, Texas and California. The Chinese are debuting a new Stealth jet fighter threat, the S-20. Unemployment is still close to 10%. Our Foreign Policy is adrift and we receive daily scoldings from our German and French "allies" as to how we are to mismanaging our own fiscal affairs. The Russians have extracted a very favorable and concessionary, new START treaty. Inflation is making gains in the marketplace despite government interventions by the Federal Reserve. The Democrats retreat on every front, but seek to point their crooked finger at the Right. How puerile. How delusional. What do our dear Democrat friends complain about? The complain that the evil GOP will try to repeal, and failing that, to change elements of Obamacare. The Democrats decry the state of politics because two months ago the American voter rejected their spending, their Socialism, and their unconstitutional, big government approach to the smallest problems. If they lost, they reason it is because the rest of us are all messed up in the head. They complain, my dear friends, about the democratic process in a Constitutional Republic. Aye, there's the rub ... limited representative government. Americans have seen the coarsening of society. But do the forces of violence have the upper hand? Is drug use out of control? Does public sexuality have no bounds? Shall we blame music and films? Is there too much violence in film and on TV? Do we really want to see graphic autopsy techniques, or ever more perverted killers as primetime entertainment? Is comedy on TV become to mean, too base, too sexist, too feminist? How can We the People complain about that which we ultimately choose to say, hear or view. For forty years or more, push back against these trends has gone nowhere. Is the trend unstoppable? We have been assured by Liberals for years that choice is good. I also agree that we have the choice to turn off TV, and to boycott bad films. Both are viable choices. One might also watch sports, or listen to Talk Radio instead, as many of us do. But is there no longer a force for good in the public square, except for TV Superheroes? Of course there is. Belief in Judeo-Christian values, ethics and morals are the force for good in the world. Maybe we should try them. One at a time people must resolve to change. Our free will choices indeed influence future events. I personally choose God's way. Man's way does not work. Tucson is proof. Which way do you choose? We must never forget that our Founders were a largely devout group. Even the few deists or unbelievers in the group subscribed to the Judeo-Christian values of the others and embraced strong codes of ethics. All of them saw big government as evil. All of them saw limitations on free speech and the rights to keep and bear arms as evil.

"Stick to our guns," and to "stand up" for free speech

This is why certain big government, anti-gun, Democrats decried the reading of the Constitution at the opening of Congress, and now they wish to restrict free political speech. Now is the time ... dare I say it ... to "stick to our guns," and to "stand up" for free speech. Or, we can all choose to become like poor, hopeless, blame-shifting Democrats like Sheriff Dupnik. How pitiful.
