Stink-a-roos on the Obama eligibility front

imageBarry Soetoro Obama’s 2012 campaign swung into high gear yesterday with blazing guns all aimed at killing off the eligibility debate. Within one 24-hour period, there was Bill O’Reilly slamming those who question Obama eligibility on Fox News; Glenn Beck conspicuously off Fox and on radio shouting a loud demand for citizens to “stop with the damn birth certificate...stop”. Neither boob-tube celebrity seemed the least rattled for appearing to be unleashed in the Shut Down the Eligibility Argument at about the same time as Obama’s sister Maya Soetoro-Ng, was being treated to a Susan Boyle Britain’s Got Talent type love-in by Piers Morgan over at CNN.

And just as so-called birthers were showering blessings on real estate mogul, reality TV star, hair-challenged Donald Trump with White Knight in Shining Armor status, The Donald was about to ride in “Trump Praises Obama; Bush Evil” Drudge headlines this morning. The Drudge ghost was raised from an 10/11 /08 Trump exclusive interview with NY1 in his Fifth Avenue Midtown office where he was roundly slamming the foreign policies of George W. Bush. Just the one-month-before-2008-election timing of this Trump bailout should make all those trying to bring the antiseptic of sunshine on Obama eligibility to climb out of the trenches so long as The Donald is still there. Fox News should be blushing down to its “Fair and Balanced” roots to have two of its top guns trotted out at the same time as Bamster dutiful little Sis Maya Soetoro-Ng. Bombastic Bill O’Reilly has been soft on Obama even before his pre Superbowl interview. Beck, who announced only last week that his contract with the network would be ending later this year, went directly off the 5 o’clock Fox slot over to his radio show bunker right after last week’s shock announcement. Trading camps from Spooky Dude tormentor to Obama protector in this time period is reminding folk that his advice to “question boldly” may have only covered the czars but never the czar master. “The Birthers”, who as someone recently suggested should more accurately be called “The Verifiers”, are already dusting off the dust from being in the trenches with Trump, and watching delightedly as Google brings the eligibility issue back to new life in the news. Losing their celebrity heroes to Obama campaign propaganda is really no loss to people who have lived three years or longer in the “When things get tough, the tough get going”, Who is Obama category. They have their own heroes whose Realty TV is the worldwide Internet. Keeping Eligibility Alive champions like Douglas Hagmann, Lawrence Sellin, Kelly O’Connell, Jim O’Neill, Jerry O’Connell, Sher Zieve and so many others may not have the status of a Bill O’Reilly, Glenn Beck or even a Donald Trump, but you could have fooled Canada Free Press (CFP), which gets more letters on this topic than any other. Meanwhile if Donald Trump wants to be taken seriously he should call in to the great Mark Levin, one of the few holdouts on talk radio, who insists on asking The Donald: “Why were you so high on Obama before?” Felina G., who posted this comment for Glenn Beck last night may be right: “Trump is a Perot Stink-a-roo”.
