Think!

Those politicians who preach smaller government don’t want the mini- government they yearn for to exclude themselves. If the “less-government- is-best” people were to carry their agenda to its logical conclusion, we could end up with no government at all. And who’s to say this wouldn’t be a good thing?
It works in Belgium. But why not a Canadian compromise between too-big and too-small government by letting Ottawa run the military and foreign affairs and let the provinces run everything else.
The big problem with the current party leaders isn’t that they can’t think outside the box, it’s that they have trouble thinking inside it.
