The next election is the most critical and pivotal of the history of this great experiment in liberty

Flea circuses, energy starvation & declining quality of life.

To paraphrase Dickens "These are the best of times, the worst of times, the age of wisdom, the age of foolishness, the epoch of belief, the epoch of incredulity, the season of Light, the season of Darkness, the spring of hope, the winter of despair, we have everything before us, we have nothing before us". There is scarcely a day goes by when any rational American does not wonder why things are the way they are. Some whisper like the title of Gary Allen's book "None dare call it a Conspiracy"; and since the mainstream propaganda outlets always ridicule "Conspiracy 'Theories'" ad infinitum, that a better word should be chosen. Conspiracy comes from the Latin root 'conspirare' meaning to breathe together. It is not hard to find groups of individuals who breathe together in secret, like the Bilderbergers, Trilateral Commission, and Council on Foreign Relations et al.

The public has about as much chance of catching any of their meetings on CSpan as they did the oft promised Obamacare debate. Regardless of the type of meeting, all have a common element, an agenda; some are of the pre-meeting type and others are of the post meeting action items type, some are fully public some are fully private and secret. The most nefarious of all are the dual agendas where there is one for public consumption and another for private implementation. Perhaps the most famous example of the latter is Agenda 21 from the Rio de Janerio Summit of 1992 which germinated the seed for the great Global Warming Hoax. It has a publically available document as well as a secret agenda to stealthily implement the public agenda via anointment of "fellow travelers" with some unholy oil and sliding them in positions of influence and power from municipal levels all the way to the Czars of the oval office. In keeping with the tale of two cities theme, I know from first hand experience the difference economically between the City State of Singapore and the City State of Washington DC. Having worked in Singapore since January of this year and being my 4th stay in that country over the years, I would compare Singapore to 'Superman' and Washington DC to 'Bizarro' for any of you who read DC comics in the 1960s. Singapore's economy grew by 15% for 2010 while America is languishing in a Whitehouse/Bailout/Obamacare induced coma; please read Andy Maheshwari's excellent Canada Free Press article Singapore and America: A City-State and Gangster Government. So the stories circulating regarding the relocation of Interpol (and possibly the UN) to Singapore only stand to reason; the trans-global parasite known as the UN having sucked its initial host dry is migrating to another host fat for the picking so that it can keep breeding its evil spawn. In keeping with Hon RS Furlong's quote "There is no such thing as consistent stupidity" the Government in Singapore rarely errs against the long term growth and well being of the people and the nation; occasionally accidental errors are made but they are corrected. The ruling government (Peoples Action Party) in Singapore has always set a public agenda for the goals and aspirations; and by all accounts this publically stated purpose has been visibly implemented on a daily, monthly and yearly basis. While there are aspects of Singaporean Society that are the antithesis of the concepts of personal liberty and freedom that Americans tend to take for granted, Singapore has none of the ills that affect America today; like the drug violence on the Mexican border, The illegal immigration problem, or welfare free rides, or public debt. (Singapore has reportedly a $50 Billion surplus) Which would make one ask "What is the real agenda of the White House and Washington in general"? It certainly has not been restoring the economy and stimulating real economic growth or the jobs associated with it or making efforts to maximize North America's Energy Potential. While Singaporeans have the opportunity through their own merits to reach the stars, Americans are being trained like fleas for a circus and every passing year the glass ceiling is being lowered with a diabolical precision reminiscent of Edgar Allen Poe's the "Pit and The Pendulum". Election Cycles are like a trans-generational chess matches with each election merely repositioning pieces in a long term strategy to checkmate the US Constitution and subjugate the American People to a Global Governance sometimes referred to as "The New World Order". One of the key elements of such an agenda is the curtailing and pricing out of reach the most essential commodity to socio economic well being; Energy. It's a statistical fact that countries with higher per capita energy consumption have generally better quality of life, better roads, better hospitals, and better schools. The following graph shows the correlation between per capita energy usage versus one of the UN's own measures of a country's development, called the Human Development Index or HDI. image Figure 1 Human Development Index Vs Per Capita Energy Consumption Singapore's energy hub Jurong Island was but a small spit of sand 60 years ago and now it boasts more oil refining and petrochemical production capacity per capita than the USA or Canada and yet it has none of its own energy resources within its territorial boundaries. USA= 17,698,000 BOPD Capacity or 0.057 BOPD/capita Singapore = 1,348,000 BOPD Capacity or 0.266 BOPD/capita 5x the USA Jurong Island is annually being expanded via landfill reclamation using sand and gravel imported from neighboring countries. It is one of the governments stated objectives to expand the size and capacity of that Island and its land mass; to compensate for the fact that Singapore only has 274.2 square miles of area and a population density of 17,275.7 people per square mile.

Actions and not words expose the true agenda.

While Singapore has no mineral or hydrocarbon resources, the United States is the cradle of the Oil Industry, has 3,794,101 square miles of area and a population density of only 87.4 people per square mile (0.5% that of Singapore); Yet land is never available to develop new facilities, drill for new oil & gas and there is a consistent agenda from Washington and the EPA to prohibit and frustrate any such development. In the shipyards that face Jurong Island I counted over 30 drilling or production platforms being constructed for destinations worldwide except the USA, while many of Americas Shipyard's that answered the shipbuilding challenge and built the Liberty Ships of WWII languish; again one public agenda pro industry and another private agenda anti industry. Norway and Australia are the two countries with the highest HDI and both countries have a very active environmental movement yet both are developing energy resources that are being kept out of reach in the USA. Norway for example through its ownership in Staoil and Norsk Hydro is actively developing oil and gas projects in other countries like Brazil and has developed within its territorial seabed limits, in environmentally sensitive areas like the Snøhvit Gas project at 71.5 deg north latitude. Australia is developing the massive Gorgon Gas project within the unique Barrow Island wildlife preserve and associate marine protected area. The operator of the project, Chevron is implementing many unique procedures to preserve the areas biodiversity during the life of the project which is expected to cost $47 billion and there is an announcement that government would set aside 25% of future Petroleum Resource Rent Tax from the Gorgon project to establish a Western Australian Infrastructure Fund. Yet in the USA hydrocarbon exploration is prohibited off bankrupt California which desperately needs a new source of revenue. Recently Shell Oil was prohibited from proceeding with exploration and development of its Arctic drilling program 70 miles from small village of Kaktovik (69.9 deg north latitude) after spending $4 billion dollars to date in delineating the field. The estimated reserves are 27 billion barrels of oil or 2.5 times the total amount of oil that has already flowed through the Alaska pipeline for the past 30 years. Likewise any drilling and development in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge is prohibited. While the public agenda from the Oval Office was to implement a drilling moratorium in the Gulf of Mexico (even secretly modifying the report of experts hired to review the proposal to justify it) the secret agenda out of Washington is to give Brazil $2 billion to develop their deep water oil and gas plays. France is another country that has a very high HDI and a very confrontational and active environmental movement, yet France produces 75.2% of its electrical energy from nuclear power and likewise leads the world in spent nuclear fuel reprocessing using a Purex process and an advanced nuclear waste disposal system. Despite platitudes that the Obama Administration is pro nuclear energy, the USA only produces 20.2 % of its electrical energy from nuclear power and only has one spent fuel reprocessing site for military purposes while all efforts to build a viable commercial facility have been shelved. The Yucca Mountain radioactive waste facility was approved in 2002 by the United States Congress. However, under pressure from the Obama Administration funding for development of Yucca Mountain waste site was terminated effective with the 2011 federal budget passed by Congress on April 14, 2011; Actions and not words expose the true agenda. While the current occupant of the Whitehouse continues his quixotic pursuit of having windmills on every horizon with his child obesity obsessed Dulcinea; bankrupting coal fired power plants in his wake, causing energy prices to necessarily skyrocket; the real agenda is an Alinksyian lowering of the HDI of the United States through the restriction of access to and use of the hydrocarbon and nuclear energy resources that North America is awash with. While the GOP has raised the seriousness of the skyrocketing debt and representatives like Paul Ryan have tabled plans to reign in federal spending; they are but symptoms of the disease that afflicts the nation, that disease being the hidden agendas, unelected Czars, unaccountable bureaucracies and an undocumented leader whose allegiance (and that of his Czars) lie extraterritorially to the USA, and ideologically opposed to the Judeo-Christian principles of meritocracy upon which this country was built. The next election is the most critical and pivotal of the history of this great experiment in liberty. With the oval office and the Senate there for the taking, the GOP, bogged down with RINOS and their conflicting agendas, may just snatch defeat from the jaws of victory; leaving the country's HDI to further languish under the hidden agendas of the Obama/Reid coup d'état ; A regime that daily tramples the constitution of this great nation thus desecrating the blood and graves of the patriots who for 235 odd years have paid the supreme sacrifice for freedom, liberty and opportunity that the rest of the world envies and has never been able to duplicate. Or they can for the next 17 months ride a platform that has but one public agenda; that of eliminating any and all bureaucracy within the beltway that has shown by its actions that its secret agendas are diametrically opposed to the advancement of this great nation. In the energy sector that would involve:
  • Pulling the teeth from the EPA and defunding its granting program that gives money to Astroturf environmental groups that lobby for more EPA regulations. Devolve its power and raison d'etre back to the state level.
  • Clearly state a public agenda to increase the energy supply and self sufficiency for the nation with the long term goal of making America the home of the lowest cost energy available in the world. Energy and natural resource costs have become such a major component of new automated manufacturing processes which use less manpower that new manufacturing facilities will be built here to take benefit of the lower energy costs.
  • Drill where no man has drilled before, open ANWR to exploration under the strictest guidance, give Shell the permission to continue its program in the Arctic and allow companies to bid on seismically delineating all the of the potential hydrocarbon resources within the country that have been kept off limits for decades. Expand the rate at which the Bakken Shales, Marcellus Shales and the Tar Sands of Canada are being explored and developed.
  • Refund theYucca Mountain project and establish a steering committee with the public agenda to develop a commercial nuclear fuel recovery program and establish a goal of doubling the nations nuclear power capability in less than 20 years.
  • Set up another committee to revaluate the coal resources of North America and revisit underfunded research projects like Magnetohydrodymamics (MHD) as methods to improve efficiency and reduce emissions of coal fired plants.
  • Revisit Coal to oil technologies that are not new, they were developed in Germany in the 30s and 40's.
  • Reevaluate the Hydro-electric potential of North America especially the use of in current devices that can be used as bridge abutments in major riverways without the necessity of building dams.
  • Take a bold step and expand development and utilization of North Americas natural gas supplies as the fuel of choice for all mass transit and long distance trucking/rail systems. The infrastructure put in place for the natural gas can be easily transitioned into Hydrogen as the Natural Gas reserves dwindle and the Nuclear power program reaches its maturity to start producing Hydrogen for transportation fuel.
  • In the long term, lower energy costs and in the short term, the elimination of the idiotic Ethanol program will instantly lower grain prices and that of other farm produce, making more of Americas farm output available for export to countries like ones that had "the Arab Spring" where the real cause for the riots was anger over the high cost of grains.
  • The bottom line is to have one public agenda, that America is set on a course of energy self sufficiency and that America is open for business.
Eliminate all other secret agendas! J.D. McGrath Reporting from the Indian Ocean.
