Growing resentment over the refusal of Congressional members to address Obama's eligibility to be POTUS
Bachmann/West, Identity Politics, and Nuclear Trouble in the Heartland
This article consists of some quick thoughts thrown out for reader reaction and edification. First I would appreciate some feedback on a Bachmann/West ticket for 2012.
I ask this knowing that (1) the Presidential campaign may be something of a moot point by the time November 2012 rolls around, and (2) there is growing resentment over the refusal of Congressional members to address Obama’s eligibility to be POTUS—Bachmann and West included. Link Congress’s continuing silence on the subject is further damaging whatever respect they still retain with an ever growing number of voters—mostly Republicans and Independents, but increasing, Democrats as well. I say that the 2012 elections may be a “moot point,” because unless you live under a rock, or are a liberal (same/same), then you know that things are beyond dicey as far as the world’s economy, global peace, and America’s sovereignty go. Link
Be that as it may, it looks as if Michele Bachmann is going to give Mitt Romney a run for his money—and that is no mere thing, as the two are very different birds of a feather. Say what you will about Bachmann, she is head and shoulders above Romney as far as conservative street cred goes. Of the current crop of Republican candidates she is the most conservative (read that as “sane”) by far. Link
What about a Bachmann/West ticket for 2012? Many people would like to see West as the next POTUS (myself included), but if the VP spot is offered to him by Bachmann should he take it? Link
West would be America’s first black VP, (or POTUS for that matter). No insult meant to Obama, but he is, after all, half white—which brings me to the topic of “identity politics.” Link
Identity politics is the puerile, inane, insidious doctrine that a person gains certain “rights” simply by the luck of the draw. It is totally opposed to a merit-based system, where one advances through “the sweat of their brow,” individual effort, and “pluck”—the traditional American way. Link
To take one example, according to identity politics all blacks are considered worthy of special treatment, regardless of their individual merits or history. This nonsense is cultural suicide. Link
When I meet a good, decent black person I treat them with respect, not because they are black, but because they are a good, decent person. Likewise when I meet a black a—hole, I treat them according, again not because they are black, but because they are an a—hole. A Republican speaker once suggested that we should treat a person based on the content of their character, and not the color of their skin. I concur. Link Link
I mention this because there is a very real possibility for a race war breaking out in America in the near future. While liberals continue to opine that there is no problem with wilding, or flash mobs, incidents are increasing of black on black, and black on white violence. The black thugs and thugettes who are instigating these brush-fires should be forewarned that “we the people” will not stand idly by and let such viciousness go long unchecked. Link
These gangstas are the product of liberal entitlement thinking, and community organizer-style agi-prop. I will defend me and mine forcefully—and so will the rest of “we the people.” It is not a black/white thing; it is a barbarism versus civilization thing—and I could not care less what the anti-gun, anti-God, anti-American, anti-sanity liberal smacked-asses have to say about it. In closing I would like to mention that the lame stream propaganda machine seems to be keeping the lid on a disturbing situation out in Nebraska for some reason. I’m talking about the ongoing difficulties at the Ft. Calhoun nuclear power plant in Nebraska. It appears to be a situation worth keeping an eye on. Link
