Who is The Perfect Candidate?

Friends, confidants, and those with an opinion continually ask me who is the perfect candidate to oppose Barack Hussein Obama, this November. Who is the Ronald Reaganesqe candidate with iron steel core values who will right the leeward-leaning American ship of state and restore all that is right and just? Who is the superhero who will swoop down like an American eagle and rescue the United States from the jaws of the radical Left, and an America-despising president who represents the interests of leeches, moochers, and the-just-plain lazy? Where is the perfect candidate?

Hope this does not come as a shock to your system; there is no perfect candidate… and there never will be. It’s pure folly to think any one, albeit charismatic, individual among the group who currently seek the presidency and can single-handedly, as President Warren Harding referred to… “Return us to normalcy.” Some weeks back, during a recent Iowa debate, Rick Perry stuck his foot in his mouth and incorrectly identified the voting age as 21. The Texas Governor just plain forgot about the 26th amendment, back in 1970 which lowered the national voting age to 18. OMG!! The cat calls from the Left were unrelenting. Democrats in my world emailed and called me ad nauseum, scolding me how I could consider voting for Perry based on his erroneous statement. These candidates are under a lot pressure 24/7 while they campaign.

The Klieg lights are bright, eating and resting habits are way out of sync. Occasionally, the wheels come off the bus. Similar disparaging comments regarding Governor Romney’s religion and his so-called inconsistent statements on national health care have been similarly targeted by the opposition like carpet bombs in Operation Desert Storm. Newt Gingrich has also been savagely attacked by the barking seals of the Obama left. “Newt has too much baggage to be elected, “Newt is a solar energy # who makes commercials and derives millions on the unproven theories of global warming.” And he made those commercials with the “the hated” Nancy Pelosi. “Newt made millions on the FANNIE MAE scandal.” The charges are endless. It’s all nonsense, folks. Obama has stepped on his tie so many times, if I wrote a book on it, it would voluminous. Take your pick from just some of the Obama gaffe list:

• “I’ve been in 57 States. I think one left to go.” Beaverton, Oregon, May 9, 2008.
• “One such translator was an American of Haitian descent… Navy Corpsman (he pronounced corpse) Christian Broussard.” Washington, DC February 5, 2010.
• “It’s not surprising, and then they get bitter. They get bitter and cling to guns or religion or to antipathy to people who are not like them.” San Francisco, April 11, 2008.
• “The Cambridge Police acted stupidly.” He was commenting about a White officer’s arrest of Black scholar Henry Louis Gates. July 22, 2009.

And my favorite:

• “What I was suggesting- you’re absolutely right. John McCain has not talked about my Muslim faith.” Interviewer George Stephanopoulos sacrificed his objectivity by rescuing Obama by stating, “You mean your Christian faith.” September 7, 2008. Well done, George. Are you still lobbying for Press Secretary’s position?

Folks, I urge you to stop focusing on the minutia and look at the man’s policies. He is hands-down one of the most corrupt men to have held the highest Office of our Land. And if you are sandbagged by his teleprompter-maple-syrup- smooth enacted voice and decide to vote for him, AGAIN, than you will get exactly what you voted for… An American-hating, president who reviles Israel, and will spend the United States of America into oblivion. May I remind you, if you elect this Socialist, he will be a lame duck obstacle for four long, excruciatingly painful years? Indeed our president is NOT perfect. I do not expect perfection from a human being. I expect him to represent my interests and protect my country. Obama should be a bit more cautious on how he attacks the individual who will replace him. He has a $1 Billion surplus plus to cover, hide, conceal, secrete, and veil all his future gaffes for the next 10 months. Indeed there is no perfect candidate; but I would enthusiastically vote for Romney, Santorum, Gingrich, Bachman, Perry, Paul, or even Huntsman, with all their imperfections over Barack Hussein Obama. I say A B O… Anybody but Obama. Take back American 2012.
