The Obama Fable about Energy: You know where he can shove his windmills!

As I always say it is better to read Obama’s speeches then to just listen. Obama never talked about the high price of gasoline at the pump in his last SOTU. It is way too high, and it is causing folks to have to sacrifice. But, after all, Obama said we would need to sacrifice for hope and change.
The big question should have been answered by the community organizer as to why the price of oil is getting out of sight again? The basic answer by any liberal is that the price of gas is not too high. The higher the price the less you will use fossil fuel and the world will be saved. The fact of the matter is there is no other fuel that the folks can use. And you really shouldn’t bring this up, because the main reason the price of gas has gone up is because of the action of the idiot president. One of the main reasons the price has gone up is because of the mild winter. Thanks to make-believe global warming we have had the mildest winter in the Northeast since I can remember. And thank God for that one. Because of the mild winter, we all have used a lot less heating oil. Funny thing about global warming is that it is cold as hell in other parts of the world. Alaska had to have an ice breaker Coast Guard ship lead an oil tanker to Alaska so they would have heating fuel this winter. In Kabul, babies are freezing to death.

But you know if the heating oil season in the Northeast doesn’t burn up enough fuel to keep the oil companies in greenbacks, they are not stupid. They need to raise the lost funds by another means. They just raise the price of gasoline. And some areas are so blessed that their liberal state governments are going to raise the tax on the gasoline as well. But you know a liberal like Obama didn’t bring any of that up. Deep down inside of every liberal’s thought process is the belief that the more it costs, the better. Remember cigarettes? They are still raising the taxes to see if they can get all those people to stop smoking. But getting back to Obama, what if he didn’t stand in the way of the pipeline from Canada. Obama and his liberal kooks stopped the pipeline. Did you ever wonder what the vote would be like if the people voted on it? I thought this was a democracy. Well, it used to be, until the Liberals took over the energy department and the EPA. Could the stopping of the pipeline cause the increase in the price of gasoline at the pump? If so, please send Obama a thank you card! Obama and his liberal buddies have made it very costly to drill for oil offshore. Do you think this will have an effect on the price of gasoline? But Obama said in his speech that: I’m directing my Administration to open more than 75 percent of our potential offshore oil and gas resources.” Obama has done more to impede the exploration of oil and gas then any other president. I would hold his feet to the fire on this one. Good luck. The liberals will not let this happen. But just maybe as more of the green energy that Obama dreams results in complete failures, he will be forced to allow oil companies to drill baby drill. Don’t hold your breath! Obama goes on to pontificate: “But with only 2 percent of the world’s oil reserves, oil isn’t enough. This country needs an all-out, all-of-the-above strategy that develops every available source of American energy – a strategy that’s cleaner, cheaper, and full of new jobs.” This couldn’t be further from the truth. The liberals use funny calculations but we have billions of barrels of oil on land and off shore. We have a good neighbor in Canada that will ship it via pipeline to the states a million barrels a day. No trucks or tankers will be needed. Turn the valves and let the crude flow. Even Jed Clampett knew when he saw the black crude. Maybe the folks in Beverly Hills just might be part of the problem. And it would be great if someday we put a pill in a glass of sewage and we would have enough energy to fuel all our cars, cool and heat our homes, but we don’t have it now. The only real way to go is nuclear. And Obama will have allowed to be built only 2 nuclear plants in 8 years. Assuming they stay on schedule, that is. All those freaks want to drive those electric cars, if they don’t want to burn oil, gas, or coal, they are going to need nuclear to charge those batteries. I can’t imagine that the average liberal has no clue where the electricity comes from. Do they really think that since it comes from the plug in their homes it must be clean. All the hand wipes in the world will never make that energy clean! Bottom line is that Obama has to quit getting in the way of production of fossil fuels and nuclear. The more energy we create the faster and larger our economy will grow. The more jobs the economy will have to prosper. The liberals want to sabotage everything until someone creates the magic pill. Perhaps they can move to another country. Obama spent a great deal of talk time at the SOTU about the green energy failures. He still doesn’t get it; green energy is creating more jobs in China, and not the US of A. He talks about how businesses are going to pay someone to insulate their buildings and this will save energy and create jobs. Now you know why he is the idiot president! He wants to give tax credits to these companies. This gives you a better idea how Obama is fundamentally challenged. The same holds true for liberals. We need to compete against China and make products that can compete in the marketplace. Before you know it, the liberals will have so many regs forcing businesses to insulate and use certain glass and raise their overhead so high that they will never be able to compete against the communists in China. They will be forced to close their doors! But I had a dream. I think we are approaching this all wrong. Everyday I go over the Delaware River and can see the Leigh River. These are 2 pretty large rivers. I also occasionally go over the Susquehanna River. That’s one big river. In over 30 some odd years I have never seen any of these rivers go dry. Each and every day, tons of water flow down these rivers and many rivers just like these throughout the country. In the 1900s they built a hydroelectric plant near Raubsville PA. It became an industrialized area because of the canal system that was built to transport commerce up and down the river. With the price of gas less than 15 cents a gallon and electricity dirt cheap, this hydro-generating plant was no longer needed. If you go by that way, take a look and you can see the remnants of this energy plant from the 1900s. My question is, instead of making the Chinese rich and the Arabs why don’t we harness the power of the rivers. Obama wants to build windmills which are pretty much inefficient and Ted Kennedy thought they were an eye sore. But why not bury the windmill in the rivers. Wind doesn’t blow all the time, but the river flows all the time. We have fans that are pretty efficient. Why not make numerous turbines along the rivers to generate electricity. Don’t waste your time on dams. We might have to buy the turbines from China. We may have to buy the steel from Japan, but hopefully we can build these plants with American workers and the projects would supply energy forever. And the water would act as a coolant for the motors instead of oil. The friction of the motors usually causes the motors of the windmills to burn up. This would generate tons of electricity and you won’t need any nuclear energy to run those electric cars that can only go 40 miles. It wasn’t too long ago that we stopped using horses because they could only go about 10 miles in a day. Unless you had one of those 50 dollar horses, maybe you could go a little further. So far, Obama’s jobs have been costly and have not generated any real worthwhile jobs. Working for GM for $10 dollars an hour doesn’t seem to make sense. Sounds like slavery to me. But Obama counts that as a job! It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to know that Obama’s green energy policy and his energy-destroying policies have been a failure. Maybe it is time the leaders start thinking outside the box. We have millions of miles of rivers and watercourses in this country. Why not tap into that energy and sell the technology to other countries at a profit. Profit is something Obama the community Organizer never had to worry about. Maybe we need a leader that understands profit and is not hung up on government handouts! Let’s put Old Man River to the test!
