Ed Schultz: Gingrich’s Southern Supporters are “Low Information Voters”

After Newt Gingrich easily won the Georgia Republican presidential primary last night, MSNBC anchor Ed Schultz said that people who believe that Gingrich can bring gas prices down to $2.50 a gallon are “low information voters.”

Schultz: He’s lying to the American people if he thinks he has the formula to get us down to guaranteed $2.50 a gallon. I don’t mean to dis the South but low information voters may grab on to that, I don’t know. Nice try by Schultz, but that attempt at a disclaimer before in essence calling Southern voters dim-witted didn’t fool anyone. He definitely dissed the South. Don’t expect any outrage since Schultz is insured by the liberal protection package of the mainstream media.
