Unholy convergence of Generations Y and Me will manifest itself into a national army of useful idiots

May 1: When The Answer For ‘Y’ Is ‘Me’

The Occupiers plan on getting their point across on May 1. It should be warmer, thus more comfortable for them to inflict their views on the rest of the populace, no matter how much they inconvenience others, no matter how much property is damaged or destroyed. All they know is that they deserve what someone else has.
They are the selfish, the self-absorbed… they are the youth. On May 1st (in what will be the launch of a progressive surge) the unholy convergence of Generations Y and Me will manifest itself into a national army of useful idiots, taking over what they see as their streets, vandalizing private and public property, all while demanding we give them what they want… and when do they want it? Now! Can anyone tell me what an Occupier has brought to the table that will fix our fiscal problems as a nation? They properly recite the talking points issued by Van Jones, President Obama, and all the other community organizers who’ve successfully inserted that “We are the 99%” slogan into impressionable minds, but what are their solutions outside of the “tax the rich” mantra? Most of us who can count know that won’t even put a pinprick into the problem.

Personally, while I have been impressed with the professional restraint law enforcement has shown towards the Occupiers, as soon as these disrespectful, narcissistic punks (in the name of freedom of assembly and speech) cross the line, I personally hope the cops come down harder than before. These young people are devoid of respect for anything or anyone that doesn’t directly benefit them. They are without conscience of how their actions negatively affect the lives of others. As long as their immediate needs are met, that’s all that matters. These are young people who are empty inside. In the coming days, weeks, and months, we will all see the humanity blocking streets, access to places of business, vandalizing store fronts, overturning cars and trash receptacles, looting, and finally taking over large areas so they can crash. They are also protesting because some of the agreements they entered into, such as a student loan, are just too inconvenient to be kept. A lot of this is our fault because we fed Gen Y and Me. We kept them warm. We told them they were special and expected very little of them in return. Of course, there are always exceptions but they are vastly outnumbered and that number grows by the day. Not only because of the influence and exposure the left has on today’s young people through education and pop culture, but because no matter what they do, we’ve forgiven and taken them back in because they’re… children. At some point, we as a society have to say “no” to these punks. There is no fine line between freedom of assembly and unlawful entry. There is no fine line between freedom of speech and spray painting that message on someone’s building. They’ve even organized deviant behavior and called it “anarchy”. Until Y and Me can understand and feel what they inflict on others, they should stop receiving kid-glove treatment. May 1 is not date. By their own words it’s a “convergence”, a “flashpoint”, a “culmination” and they fully intend to “show those”. We should take them seriously. (I have been invited to be a guest on Sun TV’s “The Arena” with Michael Coren to discuss this very topic May 1.)
