Uncle Sam needs his best and brightest to report for duty

It’s hard to see how the U.S. can solve its myriad problems unless many of its best and brightest citizens can be persuaded to enter the political arena. But first there has to be a sea-change in the distrust, even hatred, of all governments by millions of Americans.
The best and brightest can hardly be expected to subject themselves and their families to the slings and arrows of bellowing block-heads and the gutter-scraping tabloids.
