Smart meters

Yes, there are some “good” features about smart meters; yes, there has been overblown rhetoric regarding “bad” features. However, with all the questionable assertions removed, there are more than enough facts to give one pause.
These meters come ready to implement a “service limiting” feature allowing FPL to disconnect power on a pre-programmed set of parameters and report instantaneous usage. This allows FPL to financially PUNISH customers on a use/time-of-day basis. FPL is not being forthcoming as to their ultimate goal and the meter manufacturers are complicit in this deception. One manufacturer touts that these features can be included without altering the external appearance of the meter. Why would that be important?
As to Rio and the UN, right-thinking Americans would never allow the UN, the most corrupt body on earth, dominion over their lives!
Global warming? Even the so-called “scientists” who altered, falsified and suppressed data that did not comport with their pre-conceived hypothesis, do not believe in the validity of their findings!
Obama gave $200,000,000 to FPL for smart meters. That alone is reason enough to opt out.
Obama, Chu, and Jackson have declared war on domestic energy and have run roughshod over Congress and the Constitution. Power plants are being decommissioned and gas prices have soared.
Until such time that the Obama regime is voted into history, smart meters are a serious threat!
Beware when the politicians and their cronies come bearing gifts.
