It is amazing how blind some liberal Democrats like CBS David Letterman and NBC Brian Williams are at being so out of touch with reality. They could stand in the middle of Yosemite Park and they would still be unable to see those magnificent redwood trees.
At least it would appear that way, judging from their recent statements concerning their messiah and absolute destroyer of the United States of America as most of its true and loyal citizens have known it for 236 years.
Many of sound and discerning minds, equate them to the three monkeys that 'See No Evil, Hear No Evil and Speak No Evil' but on second thought, I believe we can delete the 'Speak No Evil' or perhaps rename it to 'Speak Nothing But Evil' particularly as it concerns liberal evils. Letterman and Williams are just carbon copies or verbatim recordings of the infamous and veritable hate-America evil trio of Obama, Reid and Pelosi and their cadaverous sycophant party members.
Godfather Politics reported online on May 17, 2012, an article titled "David Letterman Wants Us to Stop Picking on President Obama" and during an interview with NBC News anchor Brian Williams, Letterman asked, "What more do we want this man (Obama) to do for us, honest to God?"
Well you know, David, the more pertinent question would have been, "What more does this man (Obama) want to do TO us?"
He has single handedly (with orders from his higher up sub-rosa leaders, George Soros and the Bilderberg Group) brought this country to the brink of utter collapse with his bankrupting and wealth confiscating programs and total giveaways of tax dollars to foreign terrorist countries, organizations and religions.
The online magazine "Commentary" writer Peter Wehner answered Letterman's question ("What more do we want this man (Obama) to do for us.") in his column "Letterman is No Carson" dated 05-16-2012 by stating: "For starters, something better than the weakest economic recovery in the modern era, the worst jobs record of any president in the modern era, the highest sustained unemployment rate since the Great Depression, a housing crisis worse than the Great Depression, unprecedented deficits and debt, a standard of living that's fallen longer and more steeply during the past three years than at any time since the government began recording it five decades ago, a downgrade in the United States' credit rating for the first time in history, and a record number of people in poverty."
There are a lot of people in America who firmly believe that Obama is a highly intelligent man, particularly when one considers the number of higher level educational institutions which he has claimed to have attended. But the truth of the matter is that just attending prestigious schools such as Harvard or Columbia, two of the ultra schools he cites, does not necessarily mean that the wealth of knowledge that those schools possess will imbed itself in any one student. Have you even heard the expression, "He/she is an educated fool"?
I honestly believe that, though Obama is graced with a slick tongue and a great line of pure bombast and bluster, he is at times dumb as a rock.
The American public very generously gave this man the opportunity of a lifetime to which very few other Americans had ever been given; the highest title in the country that was previously the greatest country in the world and what he has given us in return is a country in abject decline from its former exalted world class position.
He laughs and scornfully dismisses his critics and pitifully attempts to place the blame for his shortcomings as a person and as a leader on his immediate predecessor, President George W. Bush, when facts dispute his every word, Letterman's and Williams' as well.
The American people can correct the horrible error they made in November 2008 when they voted Obama into office, though unqualified constitutionally and performance-wise, by putting this imposter and anti-American Socio-Communist, who has not only seriously injured our country, but seriously depleted its financial understructure for many generations to come.
Commentary's Peter Wehner ends his article with a brilliant suggestion; one with which I fully concur:
"Letterman might want to take a look at the Constitution. It is our duty to 'petition the government for a redress of grievances' when those who take an oath to uphold the Constitution continually violate it."
Obama has not only violated our Constitution, he has seriously wounded it.
Gerald A. “Jerry” McConnell, 92, of Hampton, died Sunday, February 19, 2017, at the Merrimack Valley Hospice House in Haverhill, Mass., surrounded by his loved ones. He was born May 27, 1924 in Altoona, Pa., the fifth son of the late John E. and Grace (Fletcher) McConnell.
Jerry served ten years with the US Marine Corps and participated in the landing against Japanese Army on Guadalcanal and another ten years with the US Air Force. After moving to Hampton in 1957 he started his community activities serving in many capacities.
He shared 72 years of marriage with his wife Betty P. (Hamilton) McConnell. In addition to his wife, family members include nieces and nephews.
