Obama—No Business Sense

In a speech given on 07/13/2012 Obama stated the following! “If you got a business, you didn’t build that… somebody else made that happen” proving [once more] that he has but a tenuous grasp on the English language and a full commitment to socialist principals.

In 1979, at the apex of the Carter-induced recession, with interest rates over 20%, I and my spouse started a new business in our third floor apartment. We patented, designed, built and sold capital equipment that improved printing quality and reduced paper [trees] waste by 18%.

Over the next nine years of growth, [most of them Regan years] we expanded the business, employing 40 people, shipping equipment nationally and internationally, thus helping the balance of trade, paying our taxes, paying employees well above minimum wage, providing fully paid health and prescription insurance, while building all of our goods in the United States. When we outgrew our manufacturing capacity, we supported a manufacturing company with 20 employees where we were their exclusive customer. We asked for nothing from the government, and they, in return, demanded an obscene amount of money when we sold in 1988.

Upon hearing “If you got a business, you didn’t build that… somebody else made that happen”, I was overcome with an almost overwhelming anger and revulsion, with an instantaneous vision as to where this nutcase will take our great nation if re-elected.
