How would a Caucasian president running on Obama’s record be received in the media and among voters?

America seems to be in serious decline:
The economy is stalled (or worse) and may be headed toward a double-dip recession (or worse);
Unemployment is stuck on wretched, with ominous signs of rising;
Global unrest involving Syria, Iran, Egypt, and Libya portend war in the Middle East. Israel, as always, is on the brink of annihilation;
America is still dependent on oil from the volatile middle east. Yet drilling for oil in the US is generally not allowed because of leftist fantasies of world without automobiles.
The US national debt is close to $16 trillion dollars and rising.
America’s standing and influence in the world is diminished.
Barack Obama has done literally nothing to address any of these issues, or, if he has, has only has made things worse.
Yet, Obama is still very competitive. Why?
- Obama enjoys biased and favorable treatment from the liberal media. He is no longer considered a Messiah-like figure, but most liberal news outlets (New York Times, Washington Post, LA Times, MSNBC, CBS, etc.) twist and mangle news coverage to Obama’s advantage.
- Obama enjoys overwhelming advantage in the Hispanic and African-America constituencies, although minority groups suffer untenable unemployment, foreclosures, and bankruptcy rates.
How would a Caucasian president running on Obama’s record be received in the media and among voters? Would he be in a dead heat near the end of his first term?
Think about it.
