We’ll stand and fight for America

A sincere thanks and a neighborly wave across the border to Judi McLeod for her kindness in suggesting in her article “Canada should open its doors for Barack Obama refugees.” (CFP 7/16/12).
We Americans are, indeed, suffering a major political disaster and it’s nice to know that we have friends in Canada who are willing to help us through the very trying times we’re experiencing under an insufferable dictator. I personally have had a great love and respect for Canada since early childhood, and I appreciate the beauty of her land and the warmth and genuiness of her people.
There are compelling reasons why one might consider a move to Canada. Barack Obama is definitely not one of them.
There is nothing Barack Obama would like better than to have those who resist him leave the United States of America. Then he and his henchmen (and women), in his cabinet, Congress and elsewhere would have an easier path to the socialist/communist utopia they dream about. They could join other world leaders who look forward to a “one world” global community in which America would be just another entity instead of the bastion of freedom and free enterprise it is now and ever shall be. An America that would be under the laws and jurisdiction of a world court… an America without sovereignty.
Any American who is driven out of this country by the likes of Barack Obama is, in this writer’s opinion, a despicable traitor and not an American at all.
As pointed out by Judi McLeod in her article, some years ago certain well known American citizens threatened to flee this country when George Bush was president.
Unfortunately, they never left.
True Americans don’t run.
They stand their ground.
They value and honor those who have gone before; who sacrificed so much to build and protect America. They respect and pray for the thousands of Americans who, at this very moment, are defending this nation.
This coming November 6th, Americans will make a choice between continuing as a democracy or surrendering to the tyranny of socialism.
Regardless of the outcome of the election, true Americans will still be here.
