“Ride with Pride”

In keeping with the President’s newest campaign platform—support of gay marriage—-taxpayer-funded Amtrak is launching a new campaign of their own to try and attract riders: “Ride with Pride”. First, the Pentagon pressures uniformed American military personnel to march in gay pride parades, now this. (I’m wondering if uniformed soldiers can now come to Romney rallies or stand up at townhalls while wearing their uniforms and ask the president a question he may not like?) All of this is a social agenda and should absolutely NOT be funded by taxpayers.
If the gay community wants to ride the rails with pride, then ask your mega billionaire Hollywood buddies to build a rail line because the failed, money-pit Amtrak can’t afford it.
If we Americans demanded that Amtrak put out a campaign honoring Middle-Aged Conservative Women, do we think that would fly? We are being ‘railroaded’ by a social issue that affects 2% of the population. We have no money for this. Nobody gives a flying wit what people are doing on their on time and in privacy. Enough already. We went to Chic-a-filet twice yesterday in defense of Americans having the right to express their opinions.
What gay people don’t get is, they are being used just like every other special interest group to go out and do the bidding of this administration. Once you’ve accomplished what they want you to do for them, you’ll be hung out to dry come Jan 1, ‘13 just like the rest of us.
Useful idiots. That’s what they are.
