Last night’s Vice-Presidential debate resembled a three-ring circus.
Martha Raddatz was the ring-master who kept controlling and taming the elephant, Paul Ryan.
Meanwhile, the circus clown, Joe Biden continuously distracted the main show by bringing attention to himself with his patented sophomoric grinning, smirking, laughing, mocking, sighing, snickering, guffawing, chuckling, eye rolling, flailing of hands, finger-pointing, interrupting, and petty whining.
It would’ve been no surprise at all if Joe-the-clown blew a horn or whistle, or lit some firecrackers for attention-getting effect when the camera wasn’t exclusively focused on him.
This elected public servant who is just one heart-beat away from being our President and leader of the free world was an embarrassment that only a jackass* could love.
Just a week ago, we saw similar disrespectful and condescending arrogance from our nation’s President in a public debate with a fellow Presidential candidate.
If this is the kind of unprofessional conduct and behavior our two top leaders exhibit during talks and negotiations with foreign leaders, is it any wonder we have the turmoil in the Middle East that cost the lives of four of our fellow citizens and has turned hatred against the United States?
Is it any wonder America is no longer seen as a world power when our President bows to kings, queens, emperors and dictators while being completely disrespectful to a fellow-American who is also running for the highest office in the world?
It’s time to put some mature adults in charge of leading America, and it’s certainly not the ticket of the Jackass Party.
*Jackass: donkey; especially a male donkey; a stupid person; fool On November 6th, do the mature thing by voting Mitt Romney as our 45th President of the United States .
