It is Groundhog Day and the ‘Bugeater’* of Omaha has spoken again! The third wealthiest man in the world is espousing the benefits of raising tax rates on the wealthy yet again! I wonder how many tax attorneys and tax accountants Mr. Buffett has working for him to identify how he can pay more in taxes. For starters, he could pay the one billion dollars he has been resisting to pay to the IRS! If Mr. Buffett is so headstrong in not paying his taxes, why is he a cheerleader for the regime’s higher tax-rate mantra nonsense? Is he a puppet for Barack Morsi Obama?
There must be an abundance of inbreeding between the political parties and between the elected politicians and lobbyists (many of whom are former politicians) that is contributing to the insanity that passes as ‘business-as-usual’ within the cradle of our government. The dirty little secret about Buffett and the ultra wealthy who advocate raising income tax rates on those earning over $250,000 each year is that they will not be affected, or only marginally so, by an increase in tax rates. This is due to the fact that their incomes are not classified as earned income by IRS regulations. Sadly, the owners of many small and medium sized businesses do not qualify for this ‘loophole’ enjoyed by the wealthy and illuminati because their income is classified as earned income. People, especially those who are jealous and greedy need to be very careful when they hear anyone who appears willing to raise tax rates on themselves, because, most likely, they won’t be impacted by the increase.
As the ‘fiscal-cliff’ drama plays out inside the District of Corruption, ‘Uncle’ Warren continues to enjoy a privileged position within the Obama confederacy. “Tell us, Uncle Warren, how fair is it that you were able to finagle the slamming of the door on the Keystone XL Pipeline so that you can transport oil via Burlington Northern Santa Fe, LLC, which is tucked inside your Berkshire Hathaway?”
Mr. Buffett, are you reprising your carnival barker role for insane tax policy as political and financial payback for the largess directed your way by the Bully Puppet? With your presence in the inner sanctum of the sanctimonious, are you also playing the role of puppeteer, orchestrating other segments of our moribund economy for personal gain, fame and power?
We have more cliffs than the Cliffs of Moher in Ireland, and our cliffs are equally treacherous. We have the fiscal cliff(s), moral cliffs, political and government credibility cliffs, and constitutional cliffs, to name a few. Speaking of the fiscal cliff, a major question looms. ‘Will the GOP elite atop the Party live down to their ‘Gutless Opposition Party’ moniker, caving to the pressures of the Communists of the Democrat Party and their cohorts in crime within the media?’
One definition of a ‘pledge’ is, ‘The solemn promise or agreement to do, or refrain from doing, something.’ Considering that the majority of politicians in D. C. have abandoned their oaths of office, would it be foolish to expect that members of the GOP might find their spines on such a contentious issue? Are the leaders of the GOP mere mice within a cage of Satan’s pit vipers, ripe to succumb to the venom of the pit vipers? Why don’t the GOP elites demand verifiable spending cuts before addressing the revenue portion of the equation? Don’t the elites realize that the Communists within the Democrat Party NEVER negotiate in good faith? Negotiating with the Democrat Communists reveals a pitiful naïveté or a co-conspiracy of GOP elite in league with the Communists in maintaining the status quo while growing government intrusion and oppression into the lives of American taxpaying citizens. Personally, if I were in the GOP leadership, seeing how destructive ObamaCare has been and promises to be, if it isn’t on the table in good faith, I don’t even go to the table so that Mr. Obama and his hood rats get their photo op!
Individuals who made the pledge promoted by Grover Norquist actually made his/her pledge to the constituents within his/her district or state, and to the citizens of the United States. When a pledge maker abandons his/her pledge, he/she is abandoning his/her constituents and our representative republic. Any legitimate tax expert will acknowledge that if you want more tax revenue, you reduce tax rates. The Communists’ ruse of increasing tax rates to increase tax revenues is a canard.
Unfortunately, with our dumbed-down and distracted citizenry, canards appear to be in season year round! Breaking the anti-tax pledge is another brick on the saddle, added with the intention of breaking the back of our thoroughbred economy. By the way, is Grover Norquist any more extreme in his beliefs than Mr. Obama and the Democrats are in their wasteful and politically beneficial spending of American taxpayers’ money?
It appears that the President is also using the fiscal cliff issue as a shield from the Benghazi Massacre. By going on the ‘campaign trail’ to generate support for his one-sided approach to ‘negotiating,’ Mr. Obama prolongs the fiscal cliff debate, knocking the Benghazi Massacre from the front page and off the airwaves. This distances Mr. Obama from the tough questions about this sad chapter in American history. Wittingly, or unwittingly, Buffett has been used as a puppet to shield Mr. Obama from justice in a manner similar to the way Ambassador Rice was used.
Just as his ‘girlfriends’ in his book were composites of girls in his life, Mr. Obama is a composite of the Scarecrow, Tin Man and Cowardly Lion in the ‘Wizard of Oz’. Mr. Obama isn’t nearly as smart as he thinks he is, he has no heart and he hides behind a false bravado, using threats behind closed doors to bend people to act as he demands. When will the families of the fallen four and the American citizenry learn the shocking truths of what happened, and why, on that fateful evening of 9/11/12?
While he is ‘campaigning’ again, he also wants to remove all of the easy issues off of the table. These issues offer the only leverage the GOP has in demanding that he, Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi come to the table with concrete, verifiable and transparent plans to address our budget and tax structure issues. If there is one quote I differ with Ronald Reagan on, it is his, ‘Trust, but verify’ quote. With the traitors in Congress seeking the demise of the middle class, thereby seizing greater power at the expense of those they have sworn an oath to serve, I believe ‘Distrust and verify’ is apropos. Let me ask you, ‘How many politicians or lobbyists in D. C. do you trust?’ There may be a few who are trustworthy, but woefully few, and those who are trustworthy have been neutered by their traitorous ‘colleagues’ from within both parties. Hasn’t our history proven that our Founding Fathers would not sit by, idly, as their rights and freedoms were stolen, yet those elected to represent us continually abdicate their responsibility to protect us from our enemies, most notably our domestic enemies?
I offer a pledge in return to the GOP. ‘I, A. J. Cameron, being of sound mind and body, pledge that, should the gutless leadership of the GOP cave to the pressures imposed upon them by the Communists within the Democrat Party and their accomplices within the media regarding tax, fiscal and moral issues, I will not vote for any Republican at the Federal level, regardless of his/her involvement in the Chamberlain-like capitulation to the anarchists within our Federal government. Furthermore, should a genuine, second party emerge, I will joyfully provide my time, talent and treasury, to the extent possible, towards the success of a political party that will actually endeavor to represent me, my family and my fellow citizens, as demanded by our Constitution and its Amendments, in the spirit of our revered Founding Fathers.’
Aren’t you weary of the ‘lesser of two evils’ options consistently foisted upon us by the GOP elites? I invite all people of sound mind and a patriotic heart to disregard the Buffett tax rate canard, sign the pledge above and alert your Senators and Representative that our mutiny from the D. C. insanity and treason will be fully realized in the 2014, 2016, and all future elections. If we can’t change those in Congress, we need to change those in Congress! Think about it!
