Eagle’s Nest Cut down for wind project

Disturbing news regarding Bald Eagle nest here in Ontario Canada.
It is deeply concerning because the wind turbine project at Ostrander Point IBA has now been approved in spite all the many experts who contributed to the comments suggesting this location is not only devastating but ridiculous.
30 years ago the Bald Eagle in southern Ontario teetered on the edge of extinction due to DDT effects. They are making a very a slow recovery.
In 2011 only 57 active nest were present.
Today there is one less.
The Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources has removed a nest to make way for an industrial wind project.
