The sale of Current TV to Al Jazeera, Chuck Hagel and George Soros are all related as reported by Cliff Kincaid of Accuracy in Media (AIM). If it's bad for America, just pull on a thread and start to unravel it and eventually you'll find George Soros.
Al Jazeera, however, is downright giddy over the prospect of Chuck Hagel as Secretary of Defense. And why not? He's a member of Global Zero which supports a nuclear weapons-free America and has even advocated unilateral US disarmament "if necessary".
Writing for Al Jazeera, MJ Rosenberg claims "Obama defeats the Israel Lobby". Rosenberg is also a Chucky fan and is delighted that the president would nominate him despite protests from those who actually care about the wellbeing of our sole ally in the Middle East.
Rosenberg is a former Senior Foreign Policy Fellow with Media Matters Action Network. In other words, his prior gig was with a Soros funded group devoted to destroying conservative media.
Al Jazeera's love for Hagel is not unrequited. Hagel agrees that America is the world's bully and has no problem bashing his own country.
Hagel actually appeared on Al Jazeera as a representative of Global Zero. One should not be terribly surprised to find out that George Soros funds Global Zero by way of his Connect US Fund.
As to Iran, it would seem Hagel and Obama are in perfect sync with the idea that destroying Iran's nukes would only benefit Israel, so why bother? Who needs the hassle?
If appearing on Al Jazeera wasn't controversial enough, he's also shown his face on Russia Today television.
As Kincaid notes, Hagel clearly doesn't understand how he is being used for propaganda purposes.
Worse, he has no insight into the nature of America or the purpose of national defense.
