Well, here we go. All it takes is a little sabre rattling, a few sanctions, and Iran is beginning to shut the spigot from which oil flows. Why not? They have what the world needs. Meanwhile, our government has dragged its feet on making any moves to utilize our own reserves.

The results of all these moves, or lack of moves, is that the American people will experience further financial stresses.

With the rising gas prices which are higher this Feb. than ever before, we are looking at a summer of record-setting prices. That alone will likely set back any recovery that, arguably, might have been underway.

If our President and Congress were concerned about the welfare of this country, they would have put all the money they poured into the “green technology” myth, into establishing energy independence.

Our National security hinges on being free from the control of the middle east madmen.
