A strong Canadian dollar isn’t the only reason to visit Ireland this year – Tourism Ireland and its partners are providing Canadians with another reason to visit the island in 2011 with the launch of the 2011 Vacation Packages brochure. The 20-page booklet, full of fantastic travel deals, will find its way into 390,000 homes across Ontario this Saturday in the Travel Section of the Toronto Star.

“The 2011 Vacation Packages brochure brings together a wide-range of fantastic offers from Canadian airlines and tour operators, and Irish suppliers exclusively for Canadian travellers”, says Sinead Murray, Manager of Tourism Ireland in Canada. “A vacation in Ireland is not just about seeing the sites and attractions but also the memories Canadians will take home – whether the family they meet at a B&B home-stay or friends they make while at a local pub for lunch.”

The 2011 brochure also brings to life the many amazing experiences awaiting Canadians – from the more well-known attractions like kissing the Blarney Stone or enjoying a pint of the ‘black stuff’ at the Guinness Storehouse, to a special trivia section on the hidden Ireland.

Great-value vacation offers are also available online at discoverireland.com.

Some fantastic examples of available offers include:
Royal Irish Tours’ Manor Royal Tour – 11-day Deluxe Coach Tour – starting at $2,398/pp (sharing, includes airfare); Features delightful castle and manor house stays with breakfast daily, eight full-course evening meals and special farewell dinner and entertainment. April 18 & October 3 departures
