With Democrats, You’re Either All In—Or All Out
By Arnold Ahlert Thursday, May 24, 2012
On Sunday during a segment of Meet the Press, Newark, NJ Mayor Cory Booker had the “temerity” to call the Obama administration’s attacks on private equity firm Bain Capital “nauseating.” That was bad enough. He then had the “unmitigated gall” to suggest that private equity firms can be helpful in creating jobs and protecting public pension investments.
The Election Over CapitalismBy Douglas V. Gibbs Thursday, May 24, 2012
The Soviet Union leaders called us capitalist pigs. I never thought the Democrats would start calling us that too.
Obama Neuters War on Islamic TerroristsBy Cliff Kincaid Thursday, May 24, 2012
Dr. Sebastian L. v. Gorka, Military Affairs Fellow at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies, said on Tuesday that the Obama Administration is rapidly revising federal counter-terrorism training materials in order to eliminate references to Jihad and Islam.
Has Al Gore Gone Over the Edge or Can’t He Handle the Truth?By Jerry McConnell Wednesday, May 23, 2012
Over the past several years I have ripped former Vice President Al Gore for his far, far left rambles and rants on what he once called ‘Global Warming’ but now refers to as ‘Climate Change’. Of course, when global warming was smacked down by authentic climatologists, unlike the “pretend” types such as Gore and his misled followers, the debunked terminology was discreetly changed to something that we know is a fact; who can argue the new title ‘Climate Change’? Is it now no more than just a factual, inarguable subject?
UN Agenda 21 and the MilitaryBy Dr. Ileana Johnson Paugh Wednesday, May 23, 2012
Welcome to UN Agenda 21 “sustainability” in the last bastion of capitalism – the U.S. military. According to the May 19, 2012 issue of Army Times, “The Defense Department, like other federal agencies, is already under orders from the White House to curb energy use throughout its operations and emphasize Sustainable Development. “Planners must make bases more walkable.”(Sean Reilly)
Is There Still a Principled Defense of Traditional Marriage?
By Kelly OConnell Tuesday, May 22, 2012

Currently America is locked in turmoil regarding “gay marriage,” thanks in part to the president’s recent “evolutionary” approval of same-sex nuptials. In contrast, consider the perpetual success of state anti-homosexual marriage initiatives over the last decade. Given the depth of disagreement, there is not much deep analysis. So is there any enlightened opposition to the idea of Adam and Steve? In this essay are offered both religious and secular reasons for opposing gay marriage. Yet, the principled reader must make up his or her own mind as to the merits of this issue.
America: A Rogue NationBy Daniel Greenfield Tuesday, May 22, 2012
The debate over the Iraq War that was held in the United Nations, and in academic and foreign policy circles, could be broken down as the question whether it was Iraq or the United States that was the rogue nation. On the one hand, Iraq had defied multiple UN resolutions, but so had the United States. Iraq had gone rogue, but, by talking about a unilateral invasion, so had the United States, and, in the moral calculus of the international community, all that mattered was being a team player.

On Monday, May 21st (Victoria Day), I was guiding the children of a friend around the Royal Ontario Museum when I heard the Muslim call to prayer belting out of the PA system. After the full call was recited, there was an announcement that all would be welcome to join the prayers. I didn’t recognize where the room was in the building (perhaps because of the sound of my teeth grinding). Then the Muezzin’s call wailed on again. After that, presumably for ‘balance’ some church-bells dinged away for a little bit.
Rare corporate courage and common senseBy Paul Driessen Monday, May 21, 2012
Good for Wal-Mart! Despite intense pressure by anti-biotechnology activists, the retailing giant didn’t cave in to demands that it “reject” Monsanto’s genetically engineered (GE) sweet corn (maize).
Barack Looks Like TreyvonBy Michael Oberndorf, RPA Saturday, May 19, 2012
Once again, as the facts – the real ones, not the ones made up by the media – come out, it turns out that the “victim” was actually the perpetrator. And once again, the extreme left, racist race baiters – Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, Louis Farrakhan, and Barack Hussein Obama-Soetoro – jumped in at the outset to muddy the waters, and foment racial hatred and violence.
Demographic Tipping Point: Whites Now Less than Half of US Births
By Selwyn Duke Saturday, May 19, 2012
Bill Clinton once said that he looked forward to the day when whites were a minority in America. While he won’t live to see such a time, a demographic milestone that should send a tingle up Slick Willie’s leg was just reached. Writes The New York Times:
Nothing to like about Facebook’s billboard play on Fr. Patrick Peyton’s immortal wordsBy Judi McLeod Friday, May 18, 2012
It’s a message taking its birth in an era in which an American Government works to stamp out Catholicism: “The family that Facebooks together stays together.”
Facebook dominates ‘in your face’ news today now that its going public has made billionaires out of a thousand, including Irish rock star Bono, now the world’s richest musician.
George Zimmerman: Set Him Free, Or Charge With Hate Crime?By John Lillpop Friday, May 18, 2012
The case of George Zimmerman, charged with 2nd Degree murder in the shooting of Trayvon Martin, has once again crashed into the news headlines after a period of relative quiet following Zimmerman’s release on bail.
Honor Bound Not To Vote For RomneyBy J.D. Longstreet Thursday, May 17, 2012
Commentators of all stripes catch heat from their readers frequently. It goes with the territory.
Months back I declared that I would not vote for Romney ... period. Apparently, it has been more than a little difficult for some to understand why a conservative, especially a conservative who consistently harps on Obama’s failings and declares that Obama must be voted out of office to save the country, publicly announces HE will not vote for the conservative candidate most likely to unseat Obama.
