Diabolical American Propaganda Storm Fogs Republic as 2012 Race Ticks Down
By Kelly OConnell Monday, February 6, 2012
All societies coexist with elements of propaganda, in one form or another. Most typically, politicians use propaganda in order to win over the credulous, while anathematizing their enemies. Yet, the level of propaganda now regularly encountered in the United States is truly staggering. For a recent example consider how Obama presents himself as godlike when in a 2008 speech he promised:
United States of Propaganda Unleashes Unholy War Against Newt GingrichBy Kelly OConnell Monday, January 30, 2012
It would be perverse to suggest the recent Matt Drudge-delivered blitzkrieg against Newt Gingrich was anything but a massive, coordinated propaganda campaign to incinerate his candidacy to cinders and ash. Of course, it would also be unfair to insinuate Newt is anything but the father of many of his own current struggles. But, be that as it may, it is hard to see how such a scorched earth policy against a lively and talented Republican with vast leadership experience helps the GOP or harms Obama.
Such propaganda campaigns are not unknown in politics, but are rare in healthy democracies. That such a firebombing maneuver is being waged within the GOP against a viable member in order to transparently benefit Mitt Romney—the most progressive candidate—cannot possibly bode well for the future state of the party or of our union as a whole.
Media Attempt to Pick-Off All GOP Candidates, One-by-One is Undemocratic & HypocriticalBy Kelly OConnell Tuesday, January 24, 2012
America is learning the perpetually painful lesson of a rampant Marxist media. Consider the three rings of the socialist travesty. Essential issues are boiled down by leftist “journalists” to infant pap. Meanwhile, answers to compelling problems are slanted in favor of big government solutions. Finally, Conservatives are then perpetually pilloried for daring to hold and express irreversible convictions. This perilous scenario was no more patently on display than in the Jan. 19th SC Presidential debate. Fraudulent statist minion John “Bille Jean” King made the egregious error of pretending a political debate was best begun by demanding a candidate answer a question on “open marriage.” After receiving both barrels in repeated broadsides from a livid New Gingrich, the anti-media beat-down received a standing ovation.

America is in full-blown crisis. The continuous dysfunction in our government and culture at large reflect this. The American family has imploded and hundreds of millions are hooked on psychotropic drugs. Our national debt is a giant $15 trillion tumor on our economy while the welfare state explodes. Pornography is omnipresent, 80% of new diseases are STDs, while 50 million babies have been aborted. Our Arts have fallen into mindless depravity and utter darkness and cannot uplift their audience. Our ability to reason and debate have evaporated, leaving mindless emotions behind.
Tebow-Mania Proves Americans Long for Simple Moral Leadership—Take Heed, Barack
By Kelly OConnell Monday, January 9, 2012
Euphoria bordering upon madness is expressed for Timothy Richard Tebow. This affection cannot merely be explained by his recent football success. For example, Michael Jordan became the world’s most celebrated athlete through his frequent championships and scoring titles. While Tebow won the Heisman Trophy and several national college championships, he was subsequently dismissed as a gimmick, unfit for the pro level. After being drafted, Tim’s professional victories quickly became the stuff of legend, with repeated come-from-behind victories. And now, after some embarrassing losses, one gets the feeling that Tebow’s critics are pleased and hope he is quickly hustled off the NFL stage. Yet his supporters remain unrepentant.
A New Year’s Mayan Calendar: Background & Prophetic ElementsBy Kelly OConnell Sunday, January 1, 2012
Given 2011 has officially ended, and we’ve entered into 2012 of the Gregorian calendar, many folks are hand-wringing over this as the end of the age, or that the Apocalypse is finally at hand. This is because the Mayan Calendar says so! Or does it?
This article examines the theory that the Mayans foresaw the end of the world, as currently described by hundreds of new books, many of them available on Amazon.com. Yet, before anyone goes out and gives away all their belongings, and locks themselves in a reinforced root cellar—don’t forget we just experienced another “end of the world” hoax. Self-educated “pastor” and mortician-like heretic Harold Camping’s cult declared the world over twice in the last 12 months!
Star of Bethlehem, Hebrew Astronomy, & Christmas: A Scientific PerspectiveBy Kelly OConnell Sunday, December 25, 2011
Can Christianity’s historical claims be successfully addressed with science? Many scholars and writers believe they can. So how does the dramatic assertion that a star stood still over a small Near East town long enough for foreigners to reach the place—hold up to scrutiny—as reported in the Gospels. In fact, a recent video by Frederick E. Larson paints a careful yet intriguing explanation for how a star could seem to stand still in the sky. Also detailed is the somewhat controversial belief God used the starry constellations to teach His people important truths. Examined as well is the proposal that the Prophet Daniel had trained the magi long ago how to seek Yahweh in the cosmos through natural signs. This would explain why foreign star-gazing “pagans” would come to worship a Jewish child king revealed through the heavenly bodies. These are the topics of this paper.
America’s Awful Rowing Toward GodBy Kelly OConnell Sunday, December 18, 2011
A recent perusal of Pulitzer-Prize winning American poet Anne Sexton‘s work reveals an interesting obsession with failure, God and redemption strangely reminiscent of America’s current struggles. Given the religious nature of the season it seems timely to reflect on the past year and our times. The title of this article is gleaned from Sexton’s last work before she committed suicide—while ironically grappling with the idea of a higher power. Who can argue that America seems caught in malaise of intellectual and spiritual derivation? We’ve almost forgotten our glorious past with its divine sanction. We now stagger from failure to failure in a fog, stumbling over secular fables, whilst hand wringing and moaning, full of self-pity.
Understanding Timothy Richard Tebow
By Kelly OConnell Sunday, December 11, 2011
One of the most admired and reviled athletes in US history is Denver Bronco QB Tim Tebow. So why is he so controversial? The reason has nothing to do with his throwing technique at quarterback, as unorthodox they may be. Instead, it is his out-of-the-closet and unapologetic presentation of his faith.
But is Tim Tebow wrong in how he presents his faith, grabbing every opportunity he gets to say something for Jesus? Well, this question must be answered by each person according to their own values. Instead of judging Tebow, it might be more productive to try and understand him. For example, as an evangelical Christian, Tebow is undoubtedly motivated in his quest to spread the “Good News” of Jesus be his conviction that a hell of eternal torments awaits unbelievers.
Obama Support of “Arab Spring”—Clear Marxist Values Leading to Sharia Law RevolutionBy Kelly OConnell Sunday, December 4, 2011
Sadly, Obama’s only “achievement,” the “Obama Doctrine” of indirect-intervention in other state’s affairs by funding indigenous rebellions is not just failed but threatens increased risk of regional conflict. Proof already exists in Egypt’s recent election where the Muslim Brotherhood have taken a large share of the recent election and now can demand shariah law. Further Arab Spring revolutions are bound to deliver a similar result since we are expecting the Muslim world to spontaneously conform to Western ideas of just government. ¬†But this will never happen of itself but instead will take painstaking nurture instead of simply lighting bombs then walking away.
Political Fundamentalists—A Grave Threat to World LibertyBy Kelly OConnell Sunday, November 27, 2011
Here is a deeply disturbing truth of our age—one American group, our most aggressive political ideology, is dangerously reactionary, exhibiting all the hallmarks of a fundamentalist movement. Is this the Conservatives? No. This group is, of course—modern liberalism. In fact, during a recent debate witnessed by this author, one party claimed that any person holding a literal belief in the Bible should be kept from public office by law. Why? Because such persons are generally assumed unfit as they are incapable of rational thought. Specifically, the left must keep a perennial eye peeled for the advent of a theocracy.
Tebow, Palin & the Logic of ThanksgivingBy Kelly OConnell Sunday, November 20, 2011
Shall we unveil the 700-pound Tasmanian devil in the room? The chief reason the average crank hates Tim Tebow & Sarah Palin is because both are open and unapologetic Christians. Although typical anti-American bigots are loathe to admit this fact, it is transparently true. Further, it is the essential values and characteristics of authentic Christianity which most of these non-believers find highly objectionable. This same anti-religious bigotry now threatens to atomize America’s once nearly impregnable foundations.
