The Penis Politics of Progressives
By Judi McLeod Friday, May 25, 2012
A teachable moment straight from the Code of Progressives: The imaginary ‘artistic’ privates of Prime Minister Stephen Harper get no privacy, but the sale of the oil painting on canvas depicting them does.
Animal Welfare and Food ControlBy Dr. Ileana Johnson Paugh Friday, May 25, 2012
Animal rights groups believe that animals have the same rights as people. Our diets and daily life should be free of any animal-based products. The Humane Society of the United States (HSUS) and People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) subscribe to the idea that animals have equal rights to humans. “A rat is a pig is a dog is a boy” by Ingrid Newkirk, co-founder of PETA, shockingly exemplifies the animal rights creed.
Obama Hires his Personal Murder Czar and Dems continue to Threaten SCOTUSBy Sher Zieve Friday, May 25, 2012
When any country’s leader reaches comprehensive dictator status, he begins either incarcerating or killing off his opponents (aka enemies). One need only look at the rich and murderous histories of Josef Stalin, Adolph Hitler, Mao Zedong, Pol Pot and other tyrannical rulers to know that this is a fait accompli in all totalitarian regimes. In one way or another, each of these tyrants conducted their own personal genocide(s).
Teaching Chickens To WriteBy Jimmy Reed Friday, May 25, 2012
Cotton was my old man’s whole life. He grew it for fifty years, and from the time he plowed with mules until the day he shipped his last bale from his own gin, he devoted every waking minute to his crops.
Reality Check: Obama’s Clean Coal Claims
By Institute for Energy Research Friday, May 25, 2012
According to White House energy adviser Heather Zichal, the Obama administration still sees a future for coal. She also said that the administration wasn’t “singing ‘Kumbaya’” with the natural gas industry and was committed to seeing coal burned “in a more environmentally friendly way.”[ia] But what does that mean and how do we reach that point?
God MattersBy Bruce Walker Friday, May 25, 2012
Leftism, in many ways, is simply rebellion against God. Conservatives are overwhelmingly more religious than leftists, and there is a reason for this grand divide. Conservatives know that “governments” are simply gaggles of morally flawed humans whose natural lust for power tends towards corruption and expediency.
What’s News: Catholics Suing the Feds or the Latest Idol?By Bob Parks Friday, May 25, 2012
It’s hard to deny that the fact that the Catholic Church is suing the United States government over Obamacare’s contraception mandate is a huge story in comparison to a pop culture event. Is the media giving the story the coverage it demands?

Fuel Prices
By Guest Column Thursday, May 24, 2012
Have you noticed that gas prices have been falling? Despite Obama’s protestations that the control of gas prices are beyond his reach, and his claims that prices are driven by world demand, magically, just as his prospects are tanking and he needs a boost in the polls, prices drop! It’s abundantly clear that OPEC dropped the price of crude solely for the purpose of keeping their ally and accomplice in power.
Death of a PatriotBy Judi McLeod Thursday, May 24, 2012
News comes to Canada Free Press (CFP) this morning from columnist Michael Oberndorf of the passing of outstanding American patriot, Henry Lamb.
One of a kind Tennessean Henry Lamb held a lifelong dedication to the American Constitution, and did more to warn average people about the destructive encroachment of the United Nations on human society than any other source.
His columns on the UN’s Agenda 21 which appeared on CFP, World Net Daily and elsewhere, were classics. The results of Lamb’s long ago dire warnings on the The United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea (UNCLOS), also called the Law of the Sea Convention or the Law of the Sea treaty, sadly passed through the warning stage and are now about to become ratified and signed as airtight UN documents.
GoodBy Jerry Philipson Thursday, May 24, 2012
The online edition of the Montreal Gazette ran a story today headlined “518 arrested in biggest crackdown on Montreal student protests”, Gazette, May 24, 2012.
Good.
Calling the marches, riots and demonstrations which have been taking place in Montreal (and their accompanying violence, vandalism and intimidation) student protests, however, is a gross distortion of the facts. They are anything but.
Huge subsidies give American taxpayers high-voltage shocksBy Mark J. Perry Thursday, May 24, 2012
FLINT, MI. —It’s tempting to call the shameful taxpayer subsidy for electric cars — vehicles that are unaffordable for all but a small, elite number of wealthy Americans — this nation’s costly little secret.
