CommentsWith my usual "better late than never" attitude, I am finally catching up on some reading and I came across your post on the 2 certifications signed by Madam Pelosi. Maybe one of these days she will make a magazine cover modelling one of those orange jump suits. I sure hope so !However, if Miller51550 thinks that it's too late ... because it will show that DEMOCRACY does not work, may I just say that it is perfect example to illustrate that DEMOCRACY in itself is a dangerous form of government. By the rule of the people, the masses can decide what is best for all, keep them dumbed down and the manipulative will be ensured power forever. HOWEVER, we are not a democracy but a REPUCLIC which is the rule of law. Had the Law been respected, we would never have gotten into this mess in the first place. We now have a possible illegal alien assuming the highest office in the land and serving as a de-facto CIC of our armed forces. While this birth certificate issue is important to determine whether or not obama is an alien or a US citizen, the Constitutional issue is that he is not a NATURAL BORN citizen as the Constitution requires. One may be a citizen and still not be a “NATURAL BORN” citizen, which requires BOTH birth parents to be full citizens of the United States owing no allegiance to any foreign sovereign. Papa-bama was NOT a US citizen, consequently little obama is not a NATURAL BORN citizen and is ineligible to be President. If we will not obey the Constitution, why have it? What is most reprehensible to me as a veteran, is his orders as a de-facto CIC have no legal validity. The immunity protecting our troops as conscripts is also invalid. I read in my copy of Vattel’s “Laws of Nations” that wars are conducted only under the authority of a sovereign “principal”. The conscripts, as “agents” of the sovereign, are forced to do the sovereign’s will, not their own. The military can do nothing without “orders” from the sovereign. Their uniform identifying them as “lawful combatant”, is their license to kill. They cannot be charged criminally for their actions in line of duty. Should the sovereign be an invalid authority, our troops have no “principal” who is held accountable for their wartime conduct. They could be exposed to charges and trial by a foreign court for murder and war crimes for killing someone on the battlefield, and held accountable for damage to property. Vatell writes that, like a combatant captured not in uniform, they are regarded as common assassins or pirates whom no law can protect, and may be hanged by whoever might find and seize them. If obama is illegitimate, his orders are of no force. The military is in violation of the Constitution if they knowingly carry out unlawful orders. We owe those nazis hanged in Nuremberg an apology and reparations if we let obama get away with this. Posted by frank on 03/30 at 06:22 PM | # I cannot vouch for the accuracy of the following information. It was provided by a poster called butterdezillion on the blog Free Republic. It does, however, point to the need for an investigation: What the DNC sent to 49 states was the same as they had done for other years and SHOULD mean that they certify the Constitutional eligibility because when they say the candidate was “duly chosen” it should mean they were chosen in compliance with DNC bylaws, which say that the candidate must be Constitutionally eligible. That’s good enough for most states’ requirements. But Hawaii requires an affidavit saying the candidate is Constitutionally eligible. Normally the DNC didn’t have to worry about that because the Hawaii Democratic Party included the statement of Constitutional eligibility in their OCON (Official Certification of Nomination). In 2008 the HDP refused to swear that Obama was Constitutionally eligible so the DNC had to do that part for Hawaii alone. Pelosi would have known that she had to sign a special OCON for Hawaii because the HDP refused to certify Obama’s Constitutional eligibility - which she then did on the spot without having any official documentation for what she swore to. It doesn’t seem like the HDP’s removal of the Constitutional language was planned out in advance, because they took out one physical line of printed words - including the only content that was actually legally required to be done specifically by the HDP (the statement that Obama was the candidate specifically of the HDP). So what the HDP ended up submitting did not meet the legal requirements. As far as I know, we don’t know the official actions taken by Chief Elections Officer, Kevin B Cronin. I don’t believe anybody has seen the letter required to be sent out to Obama saying whether or not he qualified to be placed on the HI ballot. Obama was on the ballot, so either Cronin ignored the HDP’s failure, or there was some kind of funny business that was, and remains, hidden. Neither the DNC nor the HDP OCON had a date stamp showing when it was received by the HI Elections Office, which is odd as well. I do know that Brian Schatz was one of the people agitating for the long-embattled Kevin Cronin to resign, which he eventually did, shortly after the story of the HDP’s altered OCON surfaced. There is definitely a lot below the surface that the HDP and DNC don’t want to answer questions about - which is precisely why there should be a legal investigation complete with depositions. The HDP took out that one line of text in response to something. Who took it out, how, when, and why needs to be investigated. We take an oath to support and defend the Constitution, which mean we are subordinate to the Commander and Chief, the President. Until a President is Constitutionally removed from office we are obliged to obey his orders. The fight is not about Barack Obama, but for the integrity of the Constitution and the rule of law. In my opinion, there are sufficient doubts that Obama is eligible to be President to warrant investigation of the matter. It has be done by the legislative and judicial branches of government, to which the American people can make their voices heard. It can be done. You can help simply by spreading the word, help make enough noise such that we can get redress of our grievances. If you wish you can send my 3 Canada Free Press article as a vehicle to encourage your elected officials to act. Tell your friends to do the same. We just want the truth. For many years it has been my opinion that other than the military there is no chance that anything political will change in this country. Is the "system" so completely entrenched that even the military has lost its manhood? I was drafted, I have served and I took an oath. It must mean something to those that enlist and make it their career. How can the officers that serve today not do something? A general strike would be one way to get everyone's attention. There are any number of ways that an honorable military corps could cause meaningful change. If there was honor in the majority of officers we would not be where we are today. I understand that there are many that could do something but the military stands head and shoulders about the rest of society as far as understanding and proclaiming honor and duty to the Constitution. I could go on but will not as I have made my point. So where do we go from here? I see plenty of bitching but NO action. Are there any heroes any more?
