"global temperatures have been holding steady for a decade or more"

I really want to find the source for this myth.

My sources (which I quote and include references to) say "Combined global land and ocean annual surface temperatures for 2010 tied with 2005 as the warmest such period on record at 1.12 F (0.62 C) above the 20th century average. The range of confidence (to the 95 percent level) associated with the combined surface temperature is +/- 0.13 F (+/- 0.07 C).* "

Want another?

"The UN's World Meteorological Organisation (WMO) has confirmed 2010 was the warmest year on record"

"sea level is not showing acceleration and may be dropping"

Please quote your sources.

My sources say "In the new study, researchers provided the first continuous sea-level reconstruction for the past 2,000 years..."

"Since the late 19th century, however, sea level has risen by more than 2 millimeters per year on average, which is the steepest rate for more than 2,100 years."

The Arctic has rebounded in recent years,

Hmmm. By rebounded I would expect that means returned to the 1979-2000 average. However NOAA doesn't agree. They call it the third lowest extent on record. (It's actually below 2007 right now.)

In their words:"Average ice extent for May 2011 was 12.79 million square kilometers (4.94 million square miles). This is ...810,000 square kilometres (313,000 square miles) below the average for the reference period of 1979 to 2000."

‘The scientific reality is that from A-Z, the scientific case for man-made climate fears has collaps

See what Politico edited out from Climate Depot's Statement

Climate Depot

President Obama has not stood up for ‘bold action’ on global warming because he recognizes that it is political suicide to do so. The new political expediency in Washington is global warming skepticism. Those of us who laugh at Gore’s mythical ‘climate crisis’ tip our hat to Obama for not pushing very hard for the Congressional Climate Bill and for being so tepid at UN climate conferences. Of course Obama is still threatening to unleash the EPA to regulate that harmless trace essential gas we exhale from our mouth – CO2 – but he will most likely wait until after the next election.
