Since before the elections, it has been my opinion that the KEY to the issue is his eligibility. All the "change" can and should be reversed. We are marching towards a marxist society not because people have willingly chosen to do so, but because hypocracy and duplicity have confused them and deceived them into thinking that it is what they want.

(@rt : Hitler was Austrian. He became a defender of German nationalism as a reaction to his Austrian father with whom he was constantly in conflict.)

"The best way to fight Obama is to make reality count. The power of his office notwithstanding, Barack Hussein Obama cannot fundamentally transform America. Not only did anyone that matters ever ask him to, he has not the right."

WHAT A PERFECT EXCLAMATION POINT AT THE END OF AN EXCELLENT ARTICLE!

A "perfect storm" is brewing and my prayer is that it will break between now and Nov. 2012 - may the winds blow out the nefarious who have allowed dark clouds to form and hang over us and God have mercy on us by sending a new dawn to America!

I see part of the problem is we don't, as a people, pay enough attention during the campaign as Vernon made clear. There were plenty of indications as to what we were getting, but we listened to the propaganda anyway.
The other issue is historical. Liz mentioned the parallels with Germany. Just like Hitler, this candidate said what he was going to do, but we didn't take him seriously. In mein kampf, Hitler made it clear what his goals were. He wasn't believed. I believed our current "leader" and did what I could to convince people to vote against him. Someone once said not to believe the promises of your friends but believe the threats of your enemies. If we taught history in this nation, real history, not what they teach today, our people wouldn't be fooled by demagogues. How many of us have read mein kampf, the rise and fall of the third reich, any good history of the roman republic, or the fall of Athens? As someone who has read these works, the path we are on is clear to me, but few I know can see where we are. If the current path is not reversed, the near future will see us under dictatorship.

Judi,

I have a very hard time reading anything about our current President, because when it comes from here it is usually a load of bull___.

Because it came from an outside, unbiased source, I have just read your article. It couldn’t be more on point. Thank you.

Right now anyone that wants the United States to be run according to the Constitution, that made it great, is a right-wing wacko, terrorist. I am one of those.

We have been demonized by the demons, who are not operating for the good of our country, but to push their own agenda down the throats of the American sheep. These sheep are blinded by “American Idol,” “The Bachelor,” Lindsay Lohan, LeBron James and other useless trash that our mainstream media uses to occupy most of our little minds.

I believe that BarackO is somewhat smart but an incompetent leader and a very competent puppet.

My biggest disappointment is that I don’t understand why some Americans think that he is good leader, because to me, good leaders share the credit and accept responsibility. BarackO does neither. I guess it’s because that is the way we have gone as a society: 1) we don’t want to be accused of racism, because racism has become the worst crime that can be committed (even worse than killing 2 people, see O.J. Simpson); 2) we blame others for our mistakes; 3) we disregard the teamwork that is usually the main reason for any success; 4) we believe lies that are repeated over and over by scripted puppets; 5) for some reason we don’t respect unborn life and children, but protect convicted criminals who don’t deserve to live; 6) total lack of any fiscal responsibility; etc.; etc.

I hope more people see your article and that enough people wake up for our 2012 elections.

People keep saying we are like Germany - 1930s...nothing like that...Hitler, was a cretin, but loved Germany...Obama speaks English, but it's not an American English...it is English, as if someone learned it abroad, improved it in here, but still doesn't sound authentic...

This would be a great speech for a candidate. I wish a strong candidate would pick up on it. These are the questions that should demand answers.

Good read Judi, You hit the nail on thr hed again !

As you know I haven't changed my position:

" UMMMM Obama, Upward-Mobile-Mean Muslim- Marxist-Obama."

Just read some reporting on Gov. Rick Perry, Texas entering the Presidential race and as of now he appears ready to call out
UMMMMM Obama and the Federal Reserve for their malfeasance and detriment to the good old U.S.A. in an Iowa speech.
Now we can watch the Rhinos come out of their hiding as they begin their insidious attacks on the Gov. I have noticed the Gov differentiates himself from the Ivy League phonies by playing up his
Texas A & M { Aggie } education. He like my Grandson, is an Eagle Scout , and both are well versed in the Second Amendment and the handling of firearms.

Can GOV Rick Perry be the man to send UMMMM Obama packing ?
Time will tell !

Keep the Faith, Norm

@LizMN
Strange how history keeps repeating itself and only a rare few seem to learn from it. When they try to warn people, they usually are the ones who are laughed at.

Many similarities with the 1930's have arisen from Obamamania. From BO's speech at the Brandenburg Gate in Germany, to the similarities in personalities (narcissists), the rise to power "democratically",the nationalizations (remember Kölnisch Wasser N°4711),the propaganda, etc.

We better take heed now before the list gets much longer.

The Silence that Shatters America

Posted by Judi McLeod on Aug 15, 2011 at 08:30 PM

The question that matters most:

imageWhy do we take it as gospel that Barack Hussein Obama gets to fundamentally transform America just because he makes the bold claim that’s what he’s going to do?

Why do decent, rational,  American-loving people let Obama get away with saying he will “fundamentally transform America”?

The first time he arrogantly uttered these words, the response should have been: “It should go without saying that no one, not even a president or a king will ever be allowed to fundamentally transform America.”
