Interesting to quote Nietzsche at the beginning of the article because you couldn't show greater misunderstanding. Because Nietzsche meant that Christians are the ones who killed God. Do some reading.

Matthew 6:5-15:
“And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by men. I tell you the truth, they have received their reward in full. But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.

Thank you for writing that stunning great piece on Tim.. May the Lord bless you for standing in His truth, and Word.. And may your word bear 'good' fruit.

Kelly just simply covers this completely. A wonderfully good read which applies to Canada just as to America. The solution to all of this is found in II Chronicles 7:14, a beautiful passage that makes me cry every time I read it or hear it. Rob

Remind you of anyone? A group ? Their collective acts?

"...It may look like hate, but "It's more about demeaning other people," "... perpetual deceitfulness. "I lie a lot,"
"Duping delight"
"... total lack of remorse or empathy"

"...pattern of grandiosity, glibness, contempt, lack of empathy, and superiority"

Well, you should know these things and know the truth of what they represent and just how dangerous these can be when the opportunity for them to manifest comes about via accident or manipulation. It has happened on a national level in the past too. I suspect the Milgram Paradigm describes one such incident. http://www.slate.com/articles/news_and_politics/assessment/2004/04/the_depressive_and_the_psychopath.single.html

Imagine two people, one hurting inside the other described as above. A tragedy unfolds. Could this happen on a grand scale?

Excellent article, Kelly. Some may not want to announce their Christian faith, especially those who are high profile, as they know the media will scrutinize their every move and will expose their "faults" at the first opportunity given. Remember A.C. Green proudly announced his Christianity and virginity?

While others may be afraid of the scrutiny, Tebow definitely is not. He has already helped Christianity, especially in youths, with his profound acts of charity. Since we have allowed God to be taken out of everything his catching the eyes of our youths and silent Christians are extremely important. He walks what he talks.

Tebow had the #2 best selling NFL jersey in 2011, #1 was Aaron Rodgers (a silent Christian), #3 was Troy Polamalu, #4 was Drew Brees (a silent Christian) & #5 was Tom Brady. I am not saying all Christians must be as open as Tebow but no one, including silent Christians, should criticize him.

Not many Christians can follow "God's Great Commission to go and spread the Gospel throughout the world. Tebow has the platform to do so and does without any shame. Go Tebow.

Will Tim Tebow Spark an American Revival?

Posted by Kelly OConnell on Jan 17, 2012 at 10:20 AM

Disconnected From Biblical Roots, America Drifts Blindly Towards Destruction

America is in full-blown crisis. The continuous dysfunction in our government and culture at large reflect this. The American family has imploded and hundreds of millions are hooked on psychotropic drugs. Our national debt is a giant $15 trillion tumor on our economy while the welfare state explodes. Pornography is omnipresent, 80% of new diseases are STDs, while 50 million babies have been aborted. Our Arts have fallen into mindless depravity and utter darkness and cannot uplift their audience. Our ability to reason and debate have evaporated, leaving mindless emotions behind.
