I wonder how a "brokered convention" of Allen West and Judge Andrew Napolitano would set with the electorate ?

Because of the ridicule of the leftist idiots. The TEA Party is named from those who started the Revolution which freed us from British rule. It is formed of those that believe that "that government which governs least, governs best". Stand strong, we may yet save this nation.

I find your evaluation of the candidates more well thought through than Caruba's, even if he supposedly was only having fun. Your last paragraph is particularly insightful.

I really like this idea of yours. I attend Tea Party rallies and I can not figure out why more people are not involved with them. I think that you have hit on the answer. It is in the label. Thanks for a great article.

While I'm a supporter of Newt of the 4 we're being presented, I am also leaving judgement of his past between him and the Lord, and taking his word he has sought and received genuine redemption for his "character mistakes." TPTB have worked their damage on his campaign for sure - as you so well described the tactics used by "McRomney" (love it!) & the GOP money machine...I am quite sure the DEMS help the cause as well so both parties are sure to put one of their own in office. When the Establishment "takes someone out," as they did with Bachmann, Cain, Perry, it is because they knock off those who threaten the status quo and the agenda of the "elites," We the People be damned! IMHO, Newt will do what he says he will to cut government at the knees. I also go not believe for one minute Santorum is what media is shaping him to be...Mr. Social Conservative b/c I've read emails referencing otherwise. Have also received emails pointing out all but Ron Paul have supported GunControl or anti-2nd amendment legislation in their pasts as well, yet nobody asks them about their stand on this issue, or international treaties & encroaching UN control... I just believe NEWT is the only one that would stand a snowball's chance in Hades to debate Obama and put the monkey on the Marxist's back & who would not be politically correct when debating the fraud. For now Santorum is the threat to the GOP chosen Golden Boy...but just like Huckalujah did in '08 at the planned moment in FL, Huck threw in the towel and endorsed McTaco, and Romney was left swinging in the wind. Santorum is there to keep the conservative vote split (duping Evangelical voters like RINO Huck did for McRino)until the want to seal the deal for Romney or in the least, Santorum would be their fall back guy.

I'd vote for Paul before either Santorum or Romney just b/c I know he would expose the scum at the FED level and they have him in near total media black out mode. I don't know how we fight the entrenched Gangster Government b/c it has infected both parties with majority. The Democrat party has been totally hijacked by Communists. GOP top brass loaded up with accomplices.

Excellent post AJ! I agree! Allen West on any Republican ticket would excite the conservative base! The GOP Establishment so wants him gone b/c he has become so popular with We, the People, they are trying to redistrict his district in FL that will be favorable to a Democrat! If THIS doesn't open the eyes of those who are still doubtful the Establishment is the infectious arm inclusive of BOTH parties, then they're not paying attention. I wish there was a way to write in Allen West on every ballot and force the hand of the Establishment to say ENOUGH! We're tired of being manipulated to taking the lesser of evils.
