CommentsI kind of missed the whole "presentation" of Trayvon/Zimermann due to obligations...but glancing through some headlines and articles I have a stupid question (taking dates into consideration): ***Trayvon died February 26th ***obama made his '...look like my son'..gibbrish March 23rd ***Supreme Court started hearing on obamacare March 25th (?) ...Statistically over 7,000 black persons is killed (murdered) in the USA every year... ...so my question is: was the other 519 not worthy of obama/jackson/sharpton attention??? or was Trayvon the only one to die from other hand than black??? Neither should the theatrics of Sharpton, Jackson and Rep. Bobby Rush (D-Ill), who wore a gray hoodie and sunglasses while delivering a speech from the House floor. These tactics fall on deaf ears of thinking blacks, those who have never had white guilt or those who have gotten over their white guilt by realizing its absurdity. The media acting as judge and jury and influencing the court of public opinion with misinformation or limited information in the coverage of the Treyvor Martin shooting should surprise no one. One of the most egregious examples of public manipulation was publishing the picture of Treyvor Martin as a 13 (?) year old until yesterday when a more recent picture of a much larger and older 17 (?) year old was finally shown next to the picture of the adult George Zimmerman. What should surprise and disappoint us all was to hear elected public officials and leaders - whom you thought would know better - condemn the shooting without knowing all the facts, and even make calls to the Martin family but not the Zimmerman family, whom they also represent. These are people we worked hard to put in office whom we thought were well-grounded in the time-honored American Principle of: INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY! This on the heals of a one weekend bloodbath in Chicago where 130 people were shot, 110 dead including one innocent little girl. Don't march and wear hoodies over 130 shootings. Nationally, there are 150 Black attacks on Whites for every 1 white attack on Blacks. Blacks are still trading Black Slaves in Africa as I write. Total silence from Jesse and Al on Slave trading.
