CommentsIn my not-very-humble-or-politically-correct opinion; the reinstatement and activation of the House on Unamerican Activities (HUAC),is long overdue.People in the artsy-fartsy communities as well as 'moles' within our government during the '50s were summarily dislodged and shamed....providing America with a temporary respite from the changes and havoc these communists had hoped to complete. Many years later we discover that the insidious, seditious activities never went away entirely and have once again resurfaced and presented themselves most blatantly during the Obama administration.....however, their existence has been known primarily since the Carter administration. There are not enough collective "stones" or "ovaries" remaining on Capitol Hill to begin the elimination of the Communists in our government...indeed, many of them occupy seats in Congress. One would imagine that they would raise a mighty 'hue and cry' over being identified as such. Due to the warped reasoning which grips their minds and souls....they all believe themselves to be patriotic Americans.....Yet, they've been hiding behind 'false colors' for so long now that they not only perceive their own hype as real...they come 'unglued' when we notice, and take them to task for their proclivities to pass patently un-American/anti-American legislation....How DARE we !! They DO, however, fully expect to be paid their Congressional stipend and perks (such as primo medical coverage), while they set about dismantling the economy, the Bill of Rights, our healthcare options and private insurance, Immigration laws, The rule of law, the Constitution, and just about anything else 'American' which they deem falls short of THEIR definitions of 'fair', equitable, or union scale. To rout them out now will require that voters exercise both extreme vigilance and determination in the selection or retention of new or incumbent congressional candidates. I suspect that we could effectively remove from office 2/3rds of Congressional malcontents and miscreants and perhaps NOT have 'gotten all the rotten ones'. Do your duty citizens....'cause Congress won't do anything more for you than to rip-off, with prejudice, more of what you already earn and own ! It is surprising to see there are no comments. I especially applaud the use of the terms communist and communism as opposed to the new PC terms marxist and marxism … since average folks have no idea what those terms mean. Please allow me to make a few points. The reason the Republicans/Conservatives/Opposition continuously lose the argument is because we back down…apologize…explain…water down our correct and honest statements. Case in point: When Blitzer said; West “sounds like McCarthy,” the response should have been – thank you very much. As we all now know McCarthy was RIGHT! Instead we get this tripe from the likes of Bay Buchanan – “He has not chosen the best of words.” And “…but this is a statement I couldn’t agree with.” The same thing happened with Rush. Some female puppet being used by the demonrats appears on national TV to tell the world what a slut she is. Rush calls the slut a slut and everyone explodes and forces him to apologize. Far worse things were said about the Bush twins, Sarah Palin and her children and not once did any of the communist demonrats apologize or back track on their comments. Why -- because “our” side has no idea how to fight. All I hear are rumblings about the high road and how we are better than that. Well, we may very well be better than that, but as we continue to stay perched on that high road the communists are digging a tunnel under it and we WILL fall eventually. In 1959 Nikita Khrushchev said; "We cannot expect Americans to jump from capitalism to Communism, but we can assist their elected leaders in giving Americans doses of socialism until they suddenly awake to find out they have Communism." Prior to that Khrushchev said: “We will bury you without firing a shot.” It would appear old Nikita was prescient and Americans are ill informed, apathetic, or complicit in the downfall of the nation. Better to watch the country fall at the hands of a communist plant than to speak a disparaging word I guess. I never thought I would live to see Niki’s words come to pass, but at this point I’m thrilled I’m as old as I am and will not be around to watch the complete and utter destruction of my beloved homeland. I pray for my grandchildren who of course are being raised to be good little regime members. Communists in Congress CNN’s Wolf Blitzer played the role of wise guy during a segment last Thursday on Rep. Allen West and communism. West “sounds like McCarthy,” Blitzer said, referring to his allegations of communists in Congress.
