CommentsI read this column on Sunday and thought - I don't think so. I did think we'd end up with a first for Alberta - a minority government. In my own circle I knew so many people who were indeed voting strategically that I figured the shift from the Liberals in the city would help the PC's squeak in. All I was wrong about was that they didn't help them squeak in - they guaranteed them a majority. In the rural ridings such as where i live it doesn't much matter where you are if you are anything left of center. Your vote won't count because my neighbours all vote as far right as the options allow.
