CommentsThere is a storm of epic proportions building in this country, and at this dark hour I would ask you to remember this: Freedom & Liberty loving people may be down, but we are not out !! We still have a couple aces in the hole, one being a lone county sheriff in Arizona, the other being the contents of our gun safes.. Under no circumstances should you ever, ever, ever allow yourself to be disarmed.... The Robber Barons cannot control you as long as you have the means to defend yourself... Oh, and remember 9/11; we all need "security" now. Convenient. Hope more people see and act on this! Posted by Lindas on 04/30 at 01:28 PM | # Great article. EPA, HSUS, et all vilifying farmers is another example. Make food expensive so we can be your savior with food stamps, then vote for us next time. Global warming is the biggest cash/power grab in history. It is ultimately conceited for us to think that people can affect the planet in any meaningful way when measured in human time or geological time. See Chernobyl (39) Fukushima (0) actual casualties, versus what is fed to us by press/government. Shut down EU nuclear power program for no reason. Nature is thriving in fallout zone. Make lumber expensive by saying trees make our oxygen when innfact 3/4 of planet o2 comes from ocean algae. I could go on and on. I will be looking up more of Mr Greenfield's work. Posted by Read on 04/30 at 01:07 PM | # Daniel, you have reminded me of the words concerning the understanding of what freedom truly is. Paraphrased: “None is so enslaved as he who thinks he is free but depends on the government for his freedom”. We have been conned so many years that we have learned to enjoy being abused by them. But look on the “bright side” of that. If it were not for the ever expanding government, there would be a huge number of people without a job because they are not qualified to do productive work and must rely on a government “job” to keep from starving to death. Feigned concern for social equality disguising its hunger for total power Controlling a large number of people isn’t easy. The United States alone consists of 312 million people spread out across nearly 4 million square miles. Add on nearly 500 million for the population of the European Union and another nearly 4 million square miles of territory. Then pile on Canada with 34 million people and another 4 million square miles, Australia with 22 million and 3 million square miles and a few other stragglers here and there, and the postmodern rulers of the progressive empire have to cope with nearly a billion people spread out across 15 million square miles.
