CommentsAmerica consumes 80% of the world's oil or whatever they tell us. It's only because our government has restricted our own oil development so we must go onto the world's stage to buy it. So far, everybody seems to have enough, but wouldn't it be GOOD for America to develop and use its own? Not if you want to control human behavior. We will be forced back to the 18th century by the time Obama and his cronies are finished with our nation. If you said to me that he hates Americans, I would agree. Everything he's done so far has resulted in government control of people's behavior not our resources. Talking spirituality: The Green agenda teaches people to worship the creation, to be self-righteous, and to create a culture of death for the only creatures made in God's image, humans. When the drinking water is contaminated, let's do something. When the river catches fire because of chemical contamination, let's do something. I won't support the Green agenda. Posted by Beverly on 05/03 at 11:09 AM | # Dr. Paugh, As I have previously stated, the “pale” (G5515) horse of Revelation 6:8 is the word Chloros which was translated “Pale” G5515 chlō?ros khlo-ros' From the same as G5514; greenish, that is, verdant, dun-colored: - green, pale We are now seeing the fourth horse of the apocalypse running over the people. I do wonder if the people who are so enamored of their “Greenie” ways have even so much as a clue as to whom they are serving? If they did it would be their “gills” which would turn a bit green and their panties would turn a bit brown. Posted by JohnMinn on 05/03 at 09:10 AM | # Oil may also be abiotic. The Earth creates it through geophysical process, not through decaying organics. Liquid hydrocarbons exist on Titan, Saturn's moon -- the Cassini probe discovered the chemical composition in Titan's 'lakes'. Scientists say that the results suggest that Titan has even more reserves than Earth does. Think. They haven't punctured Exxon-Mobil's holding tank by mistake, releasing man-made substances into the ocean. Oil spills from drilling are just leaks of a naturally occurring substance found within the Earth. The sea 'knows' how to handle it when thousands of gallons seap out through natural holes. Energy Galore: According to the Congressional Research Service, overall energy consumption has tripled in the U.S. since 1950, per capita consumption increased 50 percent, and electricity consumption increased even more rapidly. The heaviest energy user, the industrial sector, grew the slowest. From 1973 to 2010, “the consumption of electricity remained close to 0.4 kwh per constant dollar of GDP.” Annual power generation now is ten times larger than in 1950.
