With escalating unemployment poverty, and homelessness, how could most families afford sky-high monthly insurance premiums (which will escalate further if this atrocity becomes law)? Most families struggle just to buy food and pay mortgage or rent, gas and utilities. They certainly won't be able to come up each month with an additional $500 or so to bribe an insurance company (which will deny any claim they make anyway). Samuel's has his wires crossed, his 'Ts' dotted, and he's mixing apples with oranges to produce tomato juice ! Aside from his obvious fawning and dotage of the "Supreme-Communist-Thief-in Chief", this writer falsely assumes that Obama's E.Os. are genuine justification for his intervention in areas where he knows Congress will not act to support his agenda. The abuse of the 'Executive Order' process, (which, by the way, has NEVER in the history of our country, been codified into law by the Constitution or by an act of Congress), has become a trademark of the "Usurper-King". This claimed 'right', or privilege of 'E.O.', wielded by Obama and many prior presidents....does not exist...and, if legally challenged, would not survive as a protected legitimate function of the Oval Office. That Congress has never enacted legislation killing such an abuse of presidential power is obvious and understandable...that body cannot enact legislation limiting the power of the Oval Office... even though that power was ill-gotten, usurped, and fully, unequivocally, undermines the Constitutional separation of powers. It is also advantageous to Congressional supporters of any given president, to occasionally avail themselves of such an unconstitutional 'tool' to get done what which cannot be achieved due to 'gridlock' and partisanship within House and Senate chambers. It is an oftentimes a potentially dangerous symbiotic arrangement which has its own tacit rules and guidelines....so when someone, like Obama, whose intent it is to destroy this country, its traditions and heritage, and its sovereignty, gives his 'middle finger' to all we stand for, Congress is powerless to stop the runaway freight train destroying their rights, States' rights, our individual rights and the sovereignty of the USA. This is why it is imperative that Mitt Romney does TWO things: He must abolish by personal, presidential repeal, all or most of Obama's Executive Orders.....AND... By one final illegal E.O., forever abolish the use of "rule by Executive Order". Meanwhile, the "Bill Samuels" of America need to be reminded REPEATEDLY that "ratification" as expressed in the final paragraph of his memo....is accomplished by Congress, by the States, or by the combined action of Congress and the States.....NOT by the fiat of any individual sitting president. I'm of the opinion that the Supreme Court Justices will find none of this bravado very amusing... will take under advisement, during their deliberations, Obama's attempted extortion of them....in addition, his disrespect and fury toward anything or anyone standing in the way of his Kleptocratic-Communist agenda, will be duly noted. The "Supremes", unlike the toadies in the House and Senate, are less apt to find Obama's aggressive, coercive behavior at all intimidating...and could easily and legally slap the living snot out of him for such blatant intimidation tactics. Additionally...the critical question which must be asked (by audiences and the conservative media), repeatedly.... and during EVERY forum or venue in which 'Mitt' appears as he campaigns is this: "Mr. Romney, will you pledge to America and Americans, IN WRITING, that you will repeal most, if not all of Obama's Executive Orders?" Perhaps Pres Obama does not really understand the power of the Supreme Court, or perhaps he believes that he owns sufficient votes for rejection of law he does not prefer to enforce.
