CommentsContinued by AJ...3.) Obama wins. He has no fears now because having been re-elected he will not have to worry about keeping promises or reversing full blown campaign lies. He will be free to do as he wishes with impunity. His continued destruction of America will be given an injection of steroids and his followers will go into a full court press. American jobs will be lost. Our dependency on foreign oil and money will escalate. The EPA will become even more draconian, as will all of his other minions. The dollar will collapse, food prices will soar and chaos will ensue. Exactly what Obama and his handlers want. The American people will be faced with a stark reality, do we fight for our freedom or do we roll over and allow our country to be "transformed" into Chavez's banana republic. Those of us that are awake will NOT roll over. We will fight to save our country and do everything in our power, as long as we have breath in our bodies, to restore the America we grew up in. Again, the second American revolution is on. 4.) The least likely. Obama wins and individual states refuse to go along with his transformative measures and secede from the union. These states will form a new "country", possibly the Conservative States of America. We will adopt the United States Constitution as drafted, keeping the "good" amendments and throwing out the "bad" amendments, i.e. the 17th for one. The conservatives spread all over this country that wish to continue to live free and have their freedoms restored will move to our new country. For the Marxists that currently live in the newly formed country, they will be asked to leave in favor of one of their more like minded states, say California or New Your or possibly even Illinois. This is my two cents, but trust me when I say this, no matter what is actually coming, it is not going to be pretty. So, prepare for the worst and pray for the best. Purchase clothing...of all sizes and types for barter, stock up on food, water, ammunition, plant a small and manageable vegetable garden (make sure it is "hidden" and keep its existence to yourself), and last but not least have an escape plan and a "safe haven" to retreat to. This is how this old Texan sees it. There are going to be three issues that will send the patriots "over the edge". 1.) Ratification of the U. N. "Small Arms Treaty" by our senate. There are those that say "Oh that will never happen. They (the senators) are too afraid of losing their positions of power if they vote to ratify the treaty.". The treaty is scheduled to be "completed" in June, 2012. Our Secretary of State is "on board" with the U. N.'s efforts as is our beloved president. The senators currently occupying the senate have acted boldly with the passage of several imposing laws in clear violation of the Constitution in the past three years. The treaty, once ratified, will require MANDATORY registration of privately owned firearms, and will outlaw private ownership of several classes of others. Then comes confiscation. Then comes revolution. NO self respecting American citizen will voluntarily surrender OR register their firearms. So, when the U. N. "peacekeepers" come to our doors (they are already in our country) wanting our guns, they will NOT get them. And, since governments NEVER learn from history, the second American revolution will be on. 2.) Obama loses re-election. He becomes a tyrannical dictator during the "lame duck" session and tries to take over the country. He will fabricate some reason to declare Martial Law throughout the states and the race is on. Those that support him on Washington, military politicians (military officers that long ago stopped being military officers and converted to political pawns) will support his move and order their subordinates to follow Obama's orders. As with all other dictators, privately owned weapons will of course have to be taken. There will be blood of patriots and tyrants spilled and the second American revolution is on. To be continued... The government wants control over all aspects of my life and then gets angry when you call them on their bull. We The People have to stand up to all the slugs that want this power. Let's elect officials for one term, no pension, and go back to your real job when you're done. A lot of people think that the gov't wouldn't be able to function that way. You're always going to have greed and corruption in any organization as long as man or woman are involved. THE BEST WE CAN HOPE FOR IS TO PASS THROUGH THIS LIFE and hope that the next one is better as most religions profess. When will citizens rise in their righteous anger and demand not a New Deal, not a Great Society, a New Frontier or a Fundamentally Transformed America but instead their original deal. When taxes become destructive they’ve surpassed the consent of the governed bending to the will of tyranny. When regulations strangle competition instead of securing it from evil combinations they’ve become counterproductive and defeat the very purpose for which they were proposed. When foreign entanglements bleed the nation but do not secure the peace or defeat the enemy they’ve become interventionist vehicles for vested interests. When spending becomes a hemorrhaging of assists leading to national bankruptcy those who continue to pile debt upon debt seek not the good of the nation but instead its destruction. When leaders selected to unite instead do all they can to divide they no longer advance the interest of the whole and are instead partisan leaders in a factional fight.
