You can bet one thing: If Nixon had been a liberal Demoncrat...Watergate would have been covered up by the MSM.
If 'fast & furious' had happened with a repub' president in D.C...the MSM would be screaming for a lynching.
Our illustrious political left will defend 'their guy' with everything they have. Eric holder might be thrown under the proverbial bus...but it'll end there.

I wish Fast and Furious would be the next Watergate, and "Who is Barack Hussein Obama" would be the next Watergate times 1,000.

But I expect nothing from Congress, they have been neutered by the Obama regime, and they seem to accept their fate with little protest.

vharlow,

Not only are you correct in saying nothing will happen. If you look closely you will see that nothing was ever going to happen. The only reason Fast and Furious was brought up in Congress at all was because the Republicans must maintain the illusion of being the "opposition" party, and this was too big for them to completely ignore.

At this point there appears to be only one party, and it is not the party of the majority of Americans, and certainly not of the Constitution.

America as a Democratic Republic, and her Constitution, have been defeated by a takeover from the inside out, underway for many years, but brought to a conclusion by the election of an ineligible, America hating puppet and his appointing of many Marxist/Communist Czars.

This takeover was allowed and abetted by both political parties.

he should have done it by now. It's been a long time since these hearings started, and the dems on the committee have even stopped Holder from being sworn in! He's in contempt, and at this point I have no hope anything will be done. Issa's committee is stalling.

The media could care less about this because it involves the messiah. if this would have happened under Bush, we'd be hearing about it 24/7

Issa for president

Great article. Given the fact that the entire group is rabidly anti-gun, there is little doubt that the plan was approved all the way to the top. What they are doing now if frantically seeking a way to have the blame stop at Holder…

Keep their feet to the fire!

Speaking of Darrell Issa, there were eight attempts by Congress from 2003 till 2008 to change the meaning of natural born citizen, one of the eligibility requirements of the Constitution for president and vice-president. All eight failed, (the Constitution can only be changed by amendment). Issa was a co-sponsor on this attempt:

"1. On June 11, 2003 Democrat House member Vic Snyder [AR-2] introduced H.J.R 59 in the 108th Congress - “Constitutional Amendment - Makes a person who has been a citizen of the United States for at least 35 years and who has been a resident within the United States for at least 14 years eligible to hold the office of President or Vice President.” – Co-Sponsors: Rep Conyers, John, Jr. [MI-14]; Rep Delahunt, William D. [MA-10]; Rep Frank, Barney [MA-4]; Rep Issa, Darrell E. [CA-49]; Rep LaHood, Ray [IL-18]; Rep Shays, Christopher [CT-4]."

Notice the removal in this attempt of any requirement to be born in the U.S. or even on "U.S. territory". Also, check out the other co-sponsors of this bill.

Gosh, I wonder why Congress was so interested in this at about the same time the unknown from Chicago was beginning his rise to prominence in the National Democrat Party, even pushing aside Hillary Clinton in 2008?

Go here to see the other 7 bills and their sponsors:

Is Fast and Furious the Next Watergate?

Fast and Furious: Barack Obama’s Bloodiest Scandal and its Shameless Cover-Up

When suspects in a crime are interrogated, they often develop memory loss. When the crime is running guns to drug cartels on both sides of the border, the crime involves the murder of a U.S. Border Patrol officer, Brian Terry, Immigration and Customs Enforcement agent, Jaime Zapata, and countless Mexican citizens.
