CommentsWhat is very curious about Obama's latest, open mouth--insert foot, calculated pronouncement on gay marriage is that it is almost as if he knows he going to be re-elected. It is like he knows that he knows.Do you know who will be counting votes election day 2012? A Spanish company known as SCYTL will be involved in reporting election results for hundreds of jurisdictions across the United States this upcoming election day. Will those election results be accurate? This foreign freaking company will get first look at the results. It's is going to make it much more difficult for observers to independently verify the integrity of the voting results in many jurisdictions. SCYTL will have the ability to immediately and privately examine vote details throughout the USA. Once the information is sent overseas, it will be virtually impossible to forensically audit to insure the votes are reported as cast. Shazam! Do you think this is why Obama thinks he can say or do anything from here on out with impunity? It won't matter what the voters think even if Obama is legitimately beaten hands down! Meanwhile, back at the ranch, er, Congress, not a peep out of the hapless schnooks that purport to represent us! Posted by John McGinnis on 05/11 at 03:38 PM | # Most people in the USA frankly don't give a hoot about gay marriage one way or the other. Leave me alone, I will leave you alone. But when you DEMAND that a person MUST accept a particular course of action there will be resistance. At least a dozen people I personally know who were in the 'I don't think I will vote the year camp' are now firmly in the Romney camp. Keep shooting yourself in the foot, Obama, and Dick Morris will be proven to be an accurate prophet. That change in the law would make me feel very good, so I think that makes it the right thing to do. Posted by Raymond James Smithson on 05/10 at 01:50 PM | # This is nothing more than a distraction from us talking about the horrible economy. Obama knows he loses when that happens. What Laura Ingraham calls "razzle dazzle". "It's the economy, stupid!" Posted by Diane on 05/10 at 01:27 PM | # First they stole the word "gay", now they want to steal marriage. Posted by harbinger on 05/10 at 11:12 AM | # I was at the gym this morning...They had CBS News on the TV (believe me,,if I'd had a remote control, it would've been on anything else). But I see that the MSM has now coined a new phrase for their guy in D.C. Concerning gay marriage 'rights'..first he was for it.then against it, then for it..blah blah.. The liberal spinmeister is not calling it 'flip-flopping'..oh no.. it's an 'evolution of thought'. Obama's not flipflopping...he's evolving his ideas... Only conservatives are allowed to flip-flop.. uh huh. I'll be so glad when intelligent, honest adults are running Washington again. I just hope & pray to GOD that it's not too late.(GAWD I miss Reagan!) I personally think that the election will be decided by how many dead people vote in November, not joking. Gay marriage will be the final nail in Obama’s political coffin Let the chatteratti and political pundits say what they will, dancing around the issue of gay marriage on Obama’s chances of reelection, but I will tell you plainly that he has swallowed a poison pill.
