This election process is all a smoke screen. He's not leaving! You don't know it but you no longer have any choices.

Maybe the press's love affair with the Democrats will take a turn for the better. The main stream media has been carrying the water for them for many generations. They closed their eyes while Obama was turning this country into another Cuba. Did they really believe they wouldn't lose the freedom of the press when they backed the biggest Socialist/communist the country has ever elected. Let's see how many reporters will be writing about this...or maybe they're afraid their publishers will fire them for not kowtowing to the king.

I have to wonder why you are writing about the freedom of the press in the USA being, or possibly being undermined by the DOLs’ insistence that the journalists use only government computers, software, etc. After all, I think it is well known that freedom of the press only means the press is free to write anything the owners want written; freedom belongs only to the owners of the press. Since those owners are, on the most part, owners of Obama, what’s the concern? Reuters and AP; both owned by the same family or families that own Obama and the congress. Where will any honest news ever come from besides the Canadian Free Press, and online news media that is not controlled by the corporations that own and run the “Vatican City State, Washington City State, and the London City State,” or vise versa? Those that owe no allegiance to any country, or people.

I suppose the only concern is that if the press doesn’t soon break free of the political tyranny the public will continue to drink their fluoride laden water, cesium filled milk, breathe the non-existent chemtrails, and taking in – in all forms, radiation from Japan and the DU used by NATO. Among so many other tyrannical aberrations the United States/UN government has put upon the people of the world. An overwhelming majority of the world’s population will be dead within a generation or so. Nothing to be concerned about since we won’t be here, right!

Please!

Why can't these supposed journalists just get the info the old-fashioned way--with pen and paper. Learn shorthand. Then, go home or to one of the local Starbucks, and use their own (or their company's own) laptop?

I mean HELLO! There's more than one way to skin a cat. Are these supposed journalists that stupid?

I mean I don't appreciate the, "government's" interference with this, but they can, with very little thought and not too much effort I think, get around this.

Oh, and by the way, I thought they were the ones protecting zero!! Payback's a b*t*h!!! They shouldn't complain. They looked the other way, even if they weren't responsible for the lack of vetting. They should have gotten after their fellow journalists!!

Obama Labor Dept. Forces Journalists to Use Government Issued Computers?

Posted by Warner Todd Huston on Jun 11, 2012 at 09:50 PM

The change was made out of hand with no period of public comment

Journalists are crying foul at a new Obama policy that will deny them the right to use their own computers to write stories from economic data issued inside the halls of the Department of Labor. Instead, the DoL says, journalists will have to use government owned computers, government selected software, and government owned Internet transmission lines to write their stories about the data issued by the department.
